Day11: Vashist
This day was spent in leisure, doing nothing much, not motorcycling at least, walking through the beautiful village of Vashist, trekking through a nice pine forest and climbing the steep climb to Yogini Falls, going to the hot water public baths, unfortunately men and women segregated, nearly scalding our bodies at the baths and coming out red till our thighs like roasted lobsters, Brigitte nearly fell and broke her crown on the slippery steps leading down to the hot water, doing some shopping for Brigitte, for her daughter and friends, walking through the streets and having some bad chocolate pastry.
Evening time was packing for our return to the plains and soccer time on a giant screen at Bhrigu hotel. While packing I found a Black Scorpionscorpion getting into your ear while you are riding down the twisties.
Once again I was glad I stayed at Vashist when I saw the massive traffic jams on the roads that we could see 400mts below our balcony leading from Manali to Rohtang La.
A day of rest did us a world of good.
BrigitteA beautiful wooden temple at Vashist
Entrance
The Path through Vashist Village. No, we did not try taking our motorcycles here...
Pine Cones
Yogini Falls is the one that we are aiming and that you can see way above there...
After a climb that is not all that easy we reach; look at the enormity of the falls by comparing the human figures next to it
As you can see, we got into the cave behind the waterfall curtain
Here the water tasted better than at Pangong Tso
Brigitte: the lady who completed the ride, determination is her middle name
Father-Son vying for attention
Wild Blue Orchid
Dense Pine Forest
I was hungry by then. I was wondering how this would look on my plate!
Common sign in these parts
The general message when you are in Vashist!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

With whatever he has shared, he says that, his teacher has ability to cure without touching people & from quite a distance (sounded like pranic healing + telepathy). This is my little knowledge on Reiki.

Well, I don't have much idea; a very good school friend of mine has completed stage 1 or step 1 whatever they call & has ability to bring down the pain of headache atleast. With whatever he has shared, he says that, his teacher has ability to cure without touching people & from quite a distance (sounded like pranic healing + telepathy). This is my little knowledge on Reiki.
