    thanks for the info dude
Try taking nice road till the Kengeri/ SH-17 exit point when going to Mysore. Should save you and your bike some rattles.

I will also be visiting Mysore this weekend (first ride to Chamundi hills)

SH17 or Mysore road is very bad uptill Kengeri (i.e. SH17 starting from Town Hall till Kengeri) especially after a shower.

Please, please take the NICE road.

Apart from that, Mysore road is good to zip through, if you take care of the speedbreakers.

Kanakapura road is equally good during the day time, and I felt that it's a lot more scenic and refreshing that Mysore road.

            Hey Praj!
I too have had a plan about a solo ride to Mysore and have completed two runs on the NH 209 for the same(First till the Mekedaatu detour and recently to Malavalli).
Even though the NICE road is brilliant, the route is monotonous.
The NH 209 on the other hand is vibrant and is a joy for the eye.(Though it has just two lanes and the roads are not good at some locations en route)
            Grocery shopping:2010 Honda Dio.
Grocery shopping, in style:2012 Yamaha YZF R-15 Version 2.0

              Hello,

I have not had an opportunity for a group ride with other XBHP members, and would very much enjoy doing that!

              How do I join in?

              Regards.

                hello guys
i finally did the bangalore-mysore roundtrip 2 weeks back.
i did mysore to bangalore in just 2 hrs, i know it was risky but i was sensible on the road
i did 120 constantly and loved the feel of the bike.
didnt take much photos but ill post some which i managed to take.
                took 2 breaks.
                thanks for all your inputs
i am again doing it in the next week followed by 3 days trip to my hometown and i am very excited about it.
