    Solo Ride From Alappuzha (Kerala) to Navi Mumbai Prep:

    Hello mates,
    JM here..
    I am planning a solo trip from Alappey to Navi Mumbai on my TVS Suzuki Shaolin.

    The problems I am facing are :

    # This is my first experience riding more than 300 KMs,so that I don't know any route,Precautions,Expenses and others while doing such a long trip.

    # The next is my bike condition. The engine works are done recently and rode only just 50 KMs after work is done(I got a job in Mumbai,so moved to here.

    I doubt my bike whether my bike will be able for such a long ride (engine work includes,reboring with top pro piston,new crankshaft assy,full carb assy updation)

      Don't! Do a few endurance runs first and don't risk it on a new 2T engine.

          Dont take risk with that bike Buddy.. Mumbai to Bangalore is roughly 1500 km+.. to complete this trip, you will take minimum 2 days of constant riding ar speeds above 100kmph in any new 200cc+ 4 stroke engine.. keep in mind, there are no mechanics on the highways and in case your bike stops, be ready to be looted and have no one to help as the highways have very minimum people..

          On seeing the open highways, you will want to do high speeds and on a 2 stroke 100 cc bike, the engine could possibly seize..

          I took risk too.. but i have a ZMR with a reliable new engine and decently maintained bike which can do 110-120 kmph constantly on highways and yet many things running in my mind on what ifs..

          Have anyone else join you on this journey. As in another biker with his bike and make this ride come true but dont so solo. This is my suggestion..
          Splendor - 2k to 2006
          Karizma - 2k3 to 2009
          P180 - 2k6 to 2k9
          Hunk - Oct 2k7 til now
          ZMR - 2010 to Forever
          RX135(2k) - 2013 to 2018
          Ninja 250R (2010) - 2016 til now
          RayZ - 2015 til now
          Ninja 650 (2014) - 2017 til now


          Delhi to Narkanda
          Delhi to Coimbatore
          Delhi to Nepal

                      https://goo.gl/maps/umDcH - West Coast road all the way! - 1300 odd kms of fun but also dangerous in terms of traffic in some areas and curvy. A few new tolled patches only.

                      https://goo.gl/maps/5xUU9 - From the inside - Alappuzha to Mysore to Chitradurga from there its all tolled roads - 1400 odd kms. (Tolled-straight rds might get boring at 70-80 constant).
