Sukhi I just wanted to know your experience of long rides in hills. Have you been to the hills beyond 14000 ft. , if yes, when and how many times. BTW which bike you ride, please do mention.

This I am asking because Chansal Pass is not an easy trek and even experienced riders find it tough.

                          Hi Sukhi

Chansal pass is at an altitude of 12,300 ft. and we might get snow and lots and lots of off roading. If you can meet the challenge, please confirm your acceptance to join the group. Check the tyres of your bike also. They should not be flat and worn out.

                          Hi Vini

Chansal Pass is a beautiful place and so far almost untouched by tourists. The locals did not allow road connectivity till 2009 and in fact they got know of India's independence after three years from 1947. It is at a height of 12300 feet and considered a difficult trek. It might close by end of October. Saach Pass Peak is at 14500 feet and that too is a difficult trek.
