Day 3 Nashik to Pune is a stone's throw away, people go back and forth to have lunch, so wouldn't even bother helping you out for this!!!!

Day 4 Pune - Bangalore is a breeze. Lovely roads and you can make good time. In case you encounter heavy rain and are unable to make good time to Bangalore. Stay the night in Hubli.

But to be quite honest. This is my REAL opinion. Junk such minute planning. Just get on your bike and ride with the aim of reaching your destination for the day, in case you can't make it to your destination. Stop before it gets dark at any reasonable looking hotel/ lodge. Over-planning doesn't make for fun trips! The best segments of my rides have been when i have got lost and when i have made impromptu decisions.

Anyways if you still want more information, keep asking, we will keep answering to the best of our abilities
That, i guess, is what i am going to do now... I think you are right overplanning will take the fun out of the trip. Thanks Monk, thats the best advice I have been given till date about this. Thanks much and all other fellow xBHPians who contributed

I pray, dear God please protect my ride
And if I lay down my bike today
I pray to God I walk away...
I walk away to ride another day

Okay... Here's the real situation for Nashik - Pune Stretch... The Highway is 95% a Single Lane Highway... Only small parts of the 260 kms stretch (~ 30 kms) is a proper 4 lane with dividers... and Since its Monsoon season in Maharashtra, and major repairs, expansions happening.. the stretch is a pain, especially with the unruly Village traffic which cause frequent jams at narrow bridges near Rajgurunagar and Manchar... I'd suggest Caution
