hi lovemax, interesting stuff.. i have been to small bike trips in south india with frnds. ofcourse the roads to get to the peak are as steep as it can be. the hills are at an altitude of 4500ft above sea level. i luv to be on a lot more trips..but not getting an opportunity. this is coz of limited knowledge about diff places. wat wud u suggest me? are there any organisations tht would arrange such trips?

                Hey welcome Ampulse bro!
Well knowledge about different places - you must be kidding - Even i never have any knowledge about where I am going so its all by learning and experience.
Well yes there are lot of organisations organising such trips. You can PM and where are you from pal.
well but winters are in and driving a bike is no joke....
Have a good planning and enjoy ur journey.

                      some more tips :
if drivin in himalayas b/w oct-apr , protect urself properly against cold. this is how one shd dress up

                      -FOR UPPER BODY
start with a warm inner wear (the warm vest).wear a tshirt over it and a nice sweater over the t-shirt.cover up with a heavy leather jacket.if going b/w nov-feb , wear two sweaters. -for legs , first wear a warm inner (warm pyjama). wear a heavy jean over it.
                      -for feet
wear those army socks. i hv dese heavy big army socks.very useful.try wearin leather boots instead of sport shoes.
                      -for neck
cover it with a nice muffler.use the collar of the jacket to shield the neck too.
                      -for face
if ur helmet is a loose one , try wearnin a monkey cap.if the helmet is tight , try using a bit of muffler to cover up chin and lips.
                      -for hands
ntn less than good leather gloves wud do. try puttin those dirt-guard (the thing that dirt bikes have). these protect the hands from chilly winds at high speeds.

-also keep takin breaks every hour to help the warm blood circulate specially in legs and feet. keep movin ur feet/legs in b/w coz these r the parts which are in direct contact with the cold air.
