Any one planning Bangalore to leh in August? I am going to be headed from Bangalore, will have firm dates by next week, will possibly be riding to Delhi via Mumbai and I am planning Delhi Shimla tabo to leh instead of the usual Manali rohtang.

What ride do you ride bro?? And what all will you be carrying with you?? How many days will it take you to travel and be back. Also how much will the entire trip cost you?? Just wanted to know as I live in Bangalore too,, not gonna ride but plan to ride someday from Bangalore to ladak

I have 2017 NS200

My plans at the moment are open-ended I need to be back in BLR by the 30th of August. I plan to ride out about the 7th or 8th

I am planning to ride out of BLR on the 10th of August, plan to be in Mumbai on the 10th night, leave from Mumbai on the 12th stop over in Udaipur hit Gurgaon about the 13. 14th ride to Shimla then head towards tabo and use that route to do leh. Any one wants to join dm.

I ride a Ducati Scrambler 800.
Never been to Ladakh before, and I understand that all the long trips you do still don't prepare you for the Himalayas.
I'd be happier if I can join someone rather than go all on my own.

Interested in doing the Delhi - Shimla - Tabo - Leh - Kargil - Srinagar - Delhi circuit.

Overnight stay


1st sep- 202 km
Jammu/ Udhampur - Srinagar
Stay at Srinagar
Overnight stay at Srinagar


2nd September - 412km
Srinagar to Leh
Via Kargil and Drass
Overnight stay at Leh


3rd September- 126km
Leh to Nubra valley (Hunder sand dunes)
Via Khardung La pass
Overnight stay at Hunder


4th September - 240km
Hunder to pangong lake
Overnight stay at Pangong


5th September. 330 km
Pangong lake to Pang
Overnight stay at Pang

6th September - 184 km
Pang to Keylong
Overnight stay at Keylong

7th September 116 km
Keylong to Manali
Overnight stay at Manali

8th September - 540 km
Manali to Delhi

Total distance - 2775 kms
We can add a day anywhere in between. Total 10 days. Days and itinerary is flexible.
