    Bangalore - Ladakh - Bangalore 2018

    I have searched across the forum, but couldn't find a complete guide for Bangalore Ladakh trip hence thought of starting the discussion.

    I am planning for a trip to Ladakh in next couple of weeks. However, I'm skeptical about what is an ideal plan. Following are the plans I have in mind with few pros and cons.
    1. Ride from Bangalore to Ladakh (Risky as the total distance is 5.5k odd, tiredness)
    2. Transport my Royal Enfield through Train to Delhi or Srinagar, ride from either of the city (Transporting bike is expensive, may risk damaging bike)
    3. Fly to Delhi/Srinagar/Leh and ride around (will not give the feeling of actual bike ride)

    Please suggest how do I proceed. I hope this also helps fellow riders to plan their rides.

        Take a Train/flight to Srinagar and send your bike in train, trust me it is best way to transport bike without a single damage, just be present while loading and ask them to load in corner and in starting, it will be all fine, I have done Ladakh/Spiti/Uttarakhand from Hyderabad without a single scratch on my bike in train.
        You will be fresh when you start in mountains and will enjoy more, you will be already tired if you go by road.

            I am planning to ride out of BLR on the 10th of August, plan to be in Mumbai on the 10th night, leave from Mumbai on the 12th stop over in Udaipur hit Gurgaon about the 13. 14th ride to Shimla then head towards tabo and use that route to do leh. Any one wants to join dm.
