As of now this is in nascent stage & hell lot of people will drop out too.

As GS said 15 people confirming on forum turns out to 4 actually turning up

but it is good to understand the gyaan from the people who have already got lehied.

also sometime back YHAI took 100 bikers successfully to leh in last august without a single serious mishap.

All in all it will boil down to the "real" no. of people going together at a particular block of dates which I don't think will match for all the 10-15 guys that have plans this year...

As the senior fellas (not old

) has already spoken.Group having riders >5 will create lots of mess.
But if we try to cut down people from the group,then it can create issues at frienship level

Waiting for the action which is going to happen in these 2 months.

@MG_Biker: If 10s a bad idea, solo is even worst. Not doubting on your touring capabilities, you are senior in all the ways, you know what I mean...

We'll operate differently & will meet only at a particular decided place at the given time, sounds perfect to me.
All the groups try theor best to manage n leave early morning at the decided time & reach the day's destination at the decided time as well.

:

I'd rather be clear now, I'll either be OUT or will plan my own things if:
(no personal issues here, just safety concern)

1) any rider with no touring experience turns up.
2) any rider I'v not ridden with on a real good long tour (read: 1000+kms) turns up.
3) any rider known for his bad attitude turns up. with this i mean simple disagreements with plan made by majority.
4) if the Group actually exceeds 6 or 8 people. why 6/8? coz we can then split into two comfortable teams of 3/4 each.
5) Am damn serious with all the points above, simple & clear.

P.S: Lets Keep the friendship aside & be sensible.

So here's the best TEAM we can have here, but now the count is 10+,
Lets divide i say(In good spirits...

I'll be in the sensible Ripping team

Was just a silent rider all this time.. Totally agree with all the seniors bout the cons of riding with a big group. IMO riding in 2-3 groups is actually the best idea.. as of all I'll let the Mega-tourers take the final decision.

So waiting for the final outcome.. I've already informed my boss for leaves in June

@Biru & rest of the team: I got an idea, We can divide two teams under Rachit n Razor (though tentative), both very well experienced & Leh'ed guys, So their lead will be very helpful. What say?
