Like kurt said, if we cargo the bikes from Mumbai to Delhi and then ride on how much will be approximate kharcha? I guess the 25K figure suggested earlier was considering riding right from Mumbai to Leh. so what'll be the difference if one decides to cargo his bike to Delhi?

We reached delhi as Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Ajmer-Delhi
I think the courier expense is around 1200-1500 bucks.. Please confirm this, not sure.

you would roughly save around 800 bucks plus two days
My total karcha was 20.5k including fuel for 6000+ kms.Last edited by razorBlades; 03-25-2010, 12:57 PM.A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

sending the bike to delhi or riding it over, there is not much of a cost difference. What you save when you send it over is the time. expect to spend Rs 20K for the trip and another 5K on your bike preparing for the trip or changing some stuff after the trip.Comment
