Well, I'd probably ride down to Mumbai to join you guys from the start. But that makes it 4 days to Delhi. If I ride down from Hyd to Delhi straight, it would be 2 days!
As such, another gang grom Hyd is planning the ride during the very same dates...Comment

spidey, beru, satyen, dk what a gang to hang out with.. i am not yet sure about june since office work requires me to travel for long..
may be in september
but no riding on the GQ this time 
instead of spending time on the man made beautiful straight roads, will hit spiti valley to enjoy the natural beauty!
let me know if i can be of any help on planing the itinerary
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.
Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

One more thing, try to recruit prople with good touring experience or you might have problems. Thats the only reason I have turned down riding offers from BS, MRC, MBC. Quite nice people, wanted me to ride with them to Leh

Like kurt said, if we cargo the bikes from Mumbai to Delhi and then ride on how much will be approximate kharcha? I guess the 25K figure suggested earlier was considering riding right from Mumbai to Leh. so what'll be the difference if one decides to cargo his bike to Delhi?
