In case you have changed into alloy wheels, try

70*100*17(front) & 80*100*17(rear) in the same brand. I know coz I own a multi brand tyre showroom. Most of them ll tell you to buy MRF but it's truly not worth it.
Aren't MRF Zapper good for wet grip?

I'm using Ceat Gripp/Gripp XL for the past 6-7 yrs. They have awesome grip especially off-road, I frequently go off road when there's a traffic jam or slow-moving traffic.

I was driving in Faridabad once, on Delhi Mathura highway and went slightly off-road as the traffic was jammed. Another guy followed me, I heard a thud 2 seconds later, that guy fell off his bike trying to follow me.

MRF was once good...but now they've compromised on the quality and gone commercial. You can compare the weight of the tyre with metro. It's heavier and reliable when compared. I've sold a lot of tyres and had a lot of complaints with MRF but not with metro. I've even had complaints with CEAT with wobbling complaints. I even do OE tyre replacement and had a lot of problems with MRF and if complaints occur the MRF doesn't accept their fault. CEAT in this case is better with claims.

That's exactly what my tyre retailer said. MRF complaint solving is very difficult. Ceat is good in customer complaints.

That's why I went with Ceat.
