        Id recommend PMing Sunil sir(ID : hisunil), Sumit(ID : sumit.pannalall) and Gautam(ID : gd76)..

Im sure they would be able to help you with any GT250 related queries. You might also want to check out the Comet Ownership thread. I recall seeing a discussion on replacement shoes for the Comet sometime ago

        • Change My Tire

          Hi Guys

I own a pulsar 200 cc and live in Bangalore,,

Currently on the stock tyres but wish to change it to better ones,

Stock is not what i have on my mind again so guys please suggest something ASAP,

          A few inputs:

1.I usually use my bike to commute to-fro Office
Stye of riding - Pretty rough lean at turns when i get an opportunity
also rip if i dont have time

When i go for the get to gethers

Stye of riding - I practice leaning, stoppies and wheelies[though this
          does not require]

All in all looking for tyre's which would give me good grip on wet
          roads/dry roads for leans.

2.I heard about the Sirac for the rear and M45 for the front but i am not
to sure weather its the right option

Also i need more clarity on the size and stuff about the ones mentioned above,

The rim size i know is 17" on the bike tyre is 120/80 rear and front not to sure

And about the sirac and m45 no idea please update me with the details and also let me know if i can choose a little more wider tyres[if yes which ones?]

3.I hope my question is clear? incase you need to know anything else let
          me know.

P.S i know there is SAI and Iyenger tyre shop in bangalore J.C road but i need advice from experts out here.

          Cheers[]

            • Urgent: P150/ug3 front tyre tubeless

              hi,
I know there is a separate tyre thread in universal Threads. But my Q is specific to pulsar 150 Front tyre.
Mine is P150/UG3/8,000 KM/4 months old baby. yesterday at a ghat, met an accident. no causalities.. not even a scratch but my front tyre got a hole in it. So need to get it changed ASAP.
              current configuration:
              Front 2.75X17, 41p Rear 100/90X17, 55p

want to go for tubeless front tyre. would change Rear after some time.

              now Quetions:
              1. Best brand?
              2. can I fit 90/90. the same as P200.. would it require any modifications. would it affect cornering OR speed?
              3. anyone tried it?

MRF 90/90 tubeless (zapper i guess) is an option, i am looking at right now. cost 1250 as quoted by a shopkeeper.

              please guys HELP ..
              I am from pune.

@Nitin: I have merged your topic here, since it seems to be logical this way. However, if you do not get sufficient/ helpful replies, then I will create a new thread for you, with the same.

                Thanks.

Did you check the manual of your Avenger 180? It MUST be mentioned there, for sure.

I dont have the user manual with me and looked for it on the web but couldnt locate it. So thought maybe some Avy owners could help me out.

Need an opinion on the following tyres:

                                1. Michelin M45 3.50 x 18
                                2. Michelin Sirac 120x18
                                3. IRC Durotour 110x18

I am changing the rear tyre of my zma. Currently they are running on stock MRF tyres. Looking for road & slightly off road capability which can handle wet surface firmly. Planning to change it this week so any suggestions would be great!!
Strict no to Sirac, I don't think the zma warrants a behemoth like that, even for touring and what not. even though I'm no longer a great fan of m45s I am forced to recommend that.. I'm myself on the lookout for new rubber... I guess I'll settle with m45 again(reluctantly) :P
