Here's a pic - Will get them fixed as soon as i get to buy mrf tubes. Any other options in tubes ?
Good choice there! I'm asking my friend also to go for the same combo.
As for tubes, you can get any, as long as they are the same size. I got Ceat for mine. Cheers!

Please ask your friend to get them soon as there were only two M45's left (2.75 *18) and the dealer isn't expecting a new lot soon as the new rule mandates all tyres to have a ISI mark and currently Michelin ppl are working on it. The Sirac Street is of the new lot with the ISI mark and the M45 is from the older lot.

          • my friend has an fz16,his rear tyre has had 8 punctures in the past, his odo reads 10k,

he is thinking of a tyre change, what options does he have? and is it possible to go 1 size larger from the stock 140mm?

cost estimates would help a lot

Thanks for the update. He has ordered one Sirac Street&it has already arrived. I went to him yesterday to pick up a tube-1st puncture in my Sirac Street after 6 months. 2 nails had ruined the tube so got another Ceat tube.
As for the tubes, I suggest you go for the Tuffup tube from Honda if available. I heard its puncture resistant.

Is it not available for the Unicorn as well?
If I'm not wrong, Uni comes with 100/90x18" tyre at the rear!

For new Unicorns its true,it comes with 100/90-18,But when i asked the dealer he said,TuffUp tube is meant for older Unicorns which comes with 3.0 * 18 rear tires.

That's sad. Btw how much does it cost?
I replaced the Ceat tube of my 3.00x18" Sirac Street yesterday only-was thinking I should have gone for the Tuff up tubes, but all the shops were closed&I was in an emergency.
Should have considered it when I got the tyres itself.
However, I don't think tuff up tubes will also offer resistance to nails!

Yeah, there are many instances were TuffUp tubes make the situation worse! Its 400rs here and 300 for ordinary Dunlop 100/90-18 tube.

                        • Hey guys..need a bit of help
whats the price of a Pirelli SD in Mumbai? Has anyone bought it recently? I was quoted Rs 3600 for the Pirelli SD... thought it to be a bit too steep... I own a zma...thinking of upgrading to 110/90..Is that a good idea? And how much can I expect in return for my existing tyre? Its a stock zma tyre and has run 2.5k kms only..

What is your riding conditions? PSD wears out @ 15k,and remember no grip once you are out of roads. So if you do little offroadings,Search for Michelin M45 4.0 * 18,which is equal to 110/90-18 TT Tire. Check HERE for more info about tire for karizma.
