      • well... thanks to Praful for the review, i got myself zapper vyde 120-80/17.
and guess what; the damn thing doesnt skid come what may!
my previous IRC was ultra sensitive to anything but grip. if it spots some gravel... swoosh, there we go on a spin. if it sees water 1km away, again - swoosh! a good 60-70 degree turn and again... swoosh... bamm. i dont remember how many times it made my helmet kiss the tarmac!
but duhh!!! the vyde doesnt budge. i did some real hard breaking, some deep turns and tried it on water and mud too. and it stands like a rock.
all in all... an amazing rubber to have!

        EDIT:
i went to JC road to buy the tyre. the MRF dealer had quoted 1900rs for it last week. but yesterday they didnt have it available.
so my friend suggested another MRF dealer in chamrajpet. went there and he asked for 1700rs.

        so @EOD, saved 200rs.

Ok. I guess these tyres are also a direct fit to the R15?

                • Hey Shadez...
Can you post the number for the place where you got yours. Will call him and check if he has any options available for 130/90 or 140/90 - 15"
This one is a bit difficult to find.

I checked out Vyde on the MRF website (http://www.mrftyres.com/products/2wheelers.html) and it has a funky tread. Is that yours. The only one applicable for me in that series is a150/70. But the ZapperQ looks OK and has a 140/90 available. Will check it out.

                  Thanks,
                  Beo

have checed the tyre for any pointed thing
                      but nothing
just gets punctured all the time
first i taught it might be the problem of the tube so i have changed it twice

Some times TYRE developed some cracks on the side wall from inner side or some threads of nylon and when heat generates after riding some time ur Tyre will keep repeating puncture process again n again. So plz check ur Tyre after removed completely from the rim and in day light. If there is any cracks or threads so plz provide ur tube An extra sheet of rubber by putting waste tubes cover to protect ur Tyre from that object or simply replace ur Tyre if problem persist.

yeah thats an option only when U can't go for a new tire!!
However UR ride becomes bumpy & uneven.
The Handling will also get affected.
