Re: Tyres
There are two options, mrf and ceat. As per my usage mrf which came with the bike has been good. I don't know about ceat tyres. Any suggestions?Originally posted by chats View Post

Re: Tyres
I've got a Avenger 220 Street. Avoiding the stock tires that it came with as a replacement, do I have any better options that'll offer GRIP over LIFE ? Both, the front and rear are due for replacement. Need to change them ASAP. All inputs are anticipated and appreciated.
Peace !

Re: Tyres
That is the only option i have ..already it is used for 1000km..its not i am having issue with masseter but not confident in very hard braking..also i have changed my Mc to karizma bybre one with new brake pads ..may be they have strong bite than earlier which was very old but still feedback is not there so not able to modulate the brake pressure accordingly ..will change hose to steel braided one to have more feedback and fluid flush..lets see how these combination work.Originally posted by kiran2508 View PostYou are right Masster has opposite pattern when compared to the normal Zapper FS

Zapper FY1

But the difference being the Masster is a soft compound tyre, where as the the older tyre which you used was a hard compound tyre. The grove pattern are both designed to dissipated the water from inward to outward direction during wet conditions, try breaking in the tyre for another 1000kms and see the difference in grip

Re: Tyres
Guys can you suggest good tyres for my Apache 200v4. Currently using stock pair from TVS and noticed wear and tear for the front one after clocking 17500 KM.
Mostly i commute in city and some touring too.

Re: Tyres
On a recent ride down south, my riding buddy's Thruxton got a puncture at Valparai. The tyre got fixed via the sticky patch method but kept losing air esp when standing overnight. Despite getting two sticky patches inserted later during the ride it made no difference and continued to lose air. The only option left was to fill air every 400 km or so.
On returning to Pune, he sent the bike to Triumph and got the mushroom patch installed and viola, no problem.
