  • Yeah Sudhir , let me have a look at it,
Bajaj Guys are saying WARRANTY MIGHT GET VOID IF I GO FOR A ANOTHER BRAND OF TYRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such Crappos man, or is it Actually True ?, if it forces my hand, I would go with the EURO GRIP for the time being, then change if its way inadequate..

    • Guys, recently i had two punctures , one on the fz and other on my 220, both tubeless tire, so got the puncture fixed, one guy charged me 60 and other guy 100/-
Now i'm confused, whats the basic charge for getting tubeless tire puncture fixed ?
I asked the guy about when he charged 100rs and told i got one fixed for 60 from other place he told, he can't do anything, this is the charge for tubeless repair and din't entertain my arguments.
I would like to know how much is the charge in other places.

      Cheers

I have done over 1200 kms now & I met with an accident @60kmph (@ 690 kms odo , the very next day after the 1st Service) just on the 13 th day of my Bike Purchase . I was climbing the flyover & some how the gap between one car & bike closed so much that I was not able to move ahead , I applied both the brakes , but as wheels locked the bike skidded violently & accident happened .
        .
Hope that you are alright, I would PM you my Mail ID buddy..

Let me check it out with the dealer , I havent taken the delivery would do it tomorrow.

        • Anyone got leads to a 150/70 - 17 dual sport tyre?

          • What would be a good on/off road tyre for Duke 200? Considering its fat 150/60/17 measurement. The stock MRF ones are fine looses grip unexpectedly in fine gravel.

              Bangalore - anywhere between 60 to 120.

I need a little guidance and help here. I have a R15V2.0 and have completed 13.5k kms on the stock rear tyre. It is currently holding 8 punctures and has lost quite a bit of grip, the depth of the threads has gone down considerably. So now I am looking for replacement options.
              I would prefer
              1. A medium compound tire which is not as strong a nail magnet as this one
              2. Which is relatively good at off roading too.
              3. Decent grip on corners
              Any suggestions?
My current profile is 130 - 70 - 17. No tight budget constraints if some tire really caters to all the above.

              • Hi TeeJay,

The one you are running on is MRF REV-Z isn't it ?.

MRF Zapper Q, might fit your requirements..
It costs around 2000-2800 in Various places in Bangalore.

Check it out, you have an option for Pirelli Sport Demon as well, Best Gripper we can get for the size , but I think it uses soft compound for better grip, should cost nearly 4K.

Pirelli is the real soft compound, it is prone to punctures than the MRF's.

                        • Bro,

I think Its available, MRF Rev-z is the duke tyre.

When I checked for upgrading tyre of My 200 NS ( 130/70) , RevZ was available in the same size.

But please do verify , I think its 120/80 for Pulsar 180 ( not sure though)..

Zapper wyde ( saw that fitted in a pulsar, don't remember its 150 or 180) is available in the 120 Format I think..

                          No Idea about Michelin Bro.

                            • Hi guys i want to change the rear tyre of my GS150R..Size is same as ZMA(100/90-18)...
The options i have listed are
                              1.Michelin Sirac
                              2.Mrf VYDE
                              3.Mrf Zapper Q

I want to convert the tubed tyre(rear) to tubeless. So the front Tyre will still be a tubed tyre...
Should i stay with tubed front and tubeless rear? or should i convert the existing front tyre to tubeless?
