But you forget the biggest advantage of TVS tyres, with little cleaning & polishing of my 20k old front tyre, I can sell it as new!!

I Didnt get you bro what pattern you are talkin about??Its the same one and the tyre is 120 bt looks smaller in comparison to the stock tyre i had mrf zapper 120

Mandar, the size maybe 120 but if you look at the tread pattern, it is of front tyre, meaning it was made to be used at front.

Hope it is clear now. But I am not sure what will be the adverse impacts, it might work fine without any problems.

yup brother got you but mine is 120/70 pilrelli 120/80 was difficult to find my cousin has pulsar 150 dtsi 2008 model even he wanted a pirelli 110 for his bike but we tried but coudnt get 110 pirelli's are difficult to find in mumbai,as i stay in malad after searchin a lot i got acme tyres goregaon west pirelli from here if not i had to go charni road or somewhere else very few dealers have pirelli in stock,after waitin for months of hardwork i got pirelli,no issues such.Didnt tried at high speeds wil give it a try n will reply you guys soon even the cost is decent for what i paid

Kindly suggest my Tyre for my Bike - Honda Stunner

Hello guys , I'm a new member here.I have heard a lot about this forum and I must say it's the best bike forum in our country.
For the same reason I registered and now guys I need a little help.I have a Honda Stunner and my bike's back tyre is totally dead.I have to get it changed.
So please kindly suggest me which Tyre should be good.
I'm from Gwalior , Madhya Pradesh.
After reading some reviews I went to the market and asked for MRF Zapper - C tyres and they are quoting me Rs 1800.Good price / costly ?
Also I went to the Ceat distributor and he was quoting around Rs 1900 for the tyre of my bike.
So guys kindly suggest me which one should be good for me and how much I should bargain / negotiate.
Waiting desperately for the help.Thanks a ton in advance

Be careful , front tire on the rear might not be so confidence inspiring, better change at the first chance you get, plenty of people are there looking for pirelli tires around india,
Get a proper rear tyre. Better safe than sorry

I don't think so as one of my friend is using them for his 220, Michellin Pilot Sport for the front and Pirelli Sports Demon for the rear and he said it's great fun after he switched to these and the combo is really good. . .

Blues of a hard compound yes. Praful is right, TVS-Michelin have a tie up, and I even remember the Apollo/Mich tie up, quite a few years back. But apart from TVS-Michelin retread arm, I don't think TVS would use Michelin in their motorcycles would they!

Brand perception. But I know of quite a few friends who say MSS is not really what it says on the paper. But yes, collaboration means different manufacturing style, different know-how. I mean, it's rudimental.

I'd definitely second with Krish. But I don't think the pattern is as *radical* to cause an issue. As things heat up, front or back no matter what, provides good grip, but yes, it's a very fine line between traction and loss of traction. Why did you guys wanted to break the bubble of Mandar?

After all he spent close to 6k, but boy I think I need to get away from sentiments here on.

Haha...not to put him in misery, but don't want a fellow brother to kiss the tarmac because he made a wrong choice, i don't know about dry grip, but wet or gravel roads, no idea how good a front tyre will hold up when installed in the rear.
But things arn't so bad for him, lots of demand for the pirellis now a days, he could sell it and get a new one meant for the rear , wonder why the tyre wala din tell him that it was a front tyre.

Do you remember my rear tire change to VYDE and the searching for Pirelli drama. Pretty funny I guess!

And I'm not a crash course for the SIRAC 120/90. Pingers Chrassed!

Lol..yeah..this tyre thingy really is a pain in the ass most time it nears change. Finding the best brand and the most suiting one is almost next to impossible, if you manage to find a good brand that works good overall, it isn't in production /available in the country..!!
Weird isn't it..!!!

The best way is, hunt it down, take a loan, buy 4 pairs and keep it under your bed until you need the next change..!!! :-P

And that is what I am going to do from next time on. If I get a Sirac, I'd want one. But my Victor is up for a front tire change and needs a lot of things complete front end work, but let's see how it fares. Thinking of Pirelli 90/90 but I want to go for the Michelin Sirac Street. See, drama already there!

Lol..the drama never ends, now i am on the search of the new MRF for the cbr, that is supposedly available since the website shows it in its inventory, but none of the dealers ever heard of it..!!! Even sent a mail to MRF, but no response.
