Anybody has any idea about its dry and wet grip?
i have been using dunlop challenger on my splendor for the last 60k kms!
2.75 18". i was very satisfied with it i went for the same tyre again without any second thought! excellent grip in wet and dry. but the tyre life is less when compared to mrf's.
not sure how it will perform on shogun!07 HH Zma

Thanks mate! Approximately how less is the tyre life? I don't mind a bit lower lifespan if it has better grip. And could use grip when riding the gun! And the price at Rs. 720 is tempting.Originally posted by onlinesatish View Post

All Apache's have same tyre config.Originally posted by Carlton Figueiredo View Post@satish: can u tell me what are the tire options in 110/80x18
Will it run fine without any mods on the 1st generation Apache?
About options, the best way is to go around the tyre shops in ur place, note down the ones available to you and ask here if someone has used it and how it is.

You can go for stock front tyres..... and Pirelli Speed demons (110/80 x 18") at the rear.Originally posted by inder.cool View PostCan anyone suggest me some good tubeless tyres for the ZiMA..!!
Currently i have shortlisted only the MRF Zappers...
Front -> MRF Zapper FS 2.75 TL
Rear -> MRF Zapper C - 100/90 TL
Btw... I got MRF Zapper Vyde fitted today @ Rs.1.5k.... feel is solid... the bike height has increased from the rear.... feels pretty grippy... acceleration has increased a bit and so has the top end.... did a 136kmph while returning

Life of Pirelli should be around 13-15k kms..... cost should be around 1.8-2k....Originally posted by inder.cool View PostHows the life of the Pirelli tyres..!??
What all options are there in MRF Zappers...!??

Hehehe... Lol! Guess the Dunlop Challenger seems to be the best price Vs. grip deal...Originally posted by HydBiker View Postabout 30K KM's as against 40-45K Kms on a gripless MRF!
Can anybody tell me what difference it would make if I put tubeless tyres on the CBZ-X alloys... as against the stock Tuff-up tubes and MRF tyres?

AFAIK. MRF Zapper - Q and IRC 110/80-18.Originally posted by Carlton Figueiredo View Post@satish: can u tell me what are the tire options in 110/80x18

I secnd tht!Originally posted by HydBiker View Postabout 30K KM's as against 40-45K Kms on a gripless MRF!
1st mrf tyre lasted a good 48k kms and caused a superb skid.......and my splendor had its 1st crash. i was riding pillion when this happened.
this 48k included very hard riding lots of burnouts too
My front tyre is still stock after 98k kms and it will last another 3-4k kms.......its a MRF

Dunlop C - 28-30k under normal riding and occasional burnout! The current Dunlop C has run abt 20-25k and it still looks good enough to last antoer 10k!(no burnouts till now)
one thing i like abt this tyre a lot is it gives screech sound as if a car had screched. i used to scare ppl and dogs
i think Zapper C was only for 17"Originally posted by inder.cool View PostCan anyone suggest me some good tubeless tyres for the ZiMA..!!

Just 15K kms for a tyre costing 2K..!!
Checked the MRF site..
Found 2 more variants i.e. Zapper Q 100/90 - 18 and Zapper Y 100/90 - 18
But, d these have Tubless options..!??
Yup..checked the website and came to know...so deleted this option from my list..!!Originally posted by onlinesatish View Posti think Zapper C was only for 17"
