    Thanks for the reply HydBiker.
I agree the tire config is the same....but the A150 has a slightly shorter rear suapension, which makes the difference.

Tire dealers here(except for one) are not involving enough to help out.
they only want to push their inventory.

        • I have a question...I notice a lot of people opting for tubeless tyres...here are a few thoughts:

          1) Don't tubeless tyres mostly cater for fast bikes, whats the point of putting it on a 150cc / 200 cc bike It also costs more to repair ?

          2) If your bike has stock tyres isn't the Rim/Mag wheel supposed to be different for tubeless so that the tyre can grip it properly when fitted?

Excuse my ignorance please i'm a newbie..was just wondering because I don't see the point of putting a tubeless tyre on a bike which won't even cross 110/120.

All alloys have that double locking step needed for fitting in tubeless tyres securely. Well, I guess, almost all of them do!

ppl r going tubeless for two main reasons
            1) puncture hassle... tubes cost a lot and pushing the bike till a puncture shop is a pain in the ***

            2) to avoid accidents due to sudden deflation of air in tube type...

tubeless tyres loose air pressure slowly and even with most air lost you can ride the bike at the ton mark without without much hassle.

So try it on the Rear Section Only..

It's a way different tyre,And you would be more than delighted to go for it..

I own an apache RTR. I wish to change the alloy wheels and tyres on my ride. I wud like to know which wud be the best ones that I cud go for. I'm sure u do understand that I'd have to buy only a pair and not 2 diif ones as they wud look awkward.

FYI RTR front is 90/90-17" and i'd like to retain the same dimension. However the rear is 100/90-18" and I'd like to make it 100/90-17".

Cud you kindly suggest me the best combination i cud opt for??

Kindly keep in my that i'd like to retain everything else the same.... which means..........
              - Front disc should be a fit.
              - Speedo hub should be a fit.
              - Rear sprockets of my choice shud be a straight fit.
^^ Kindly All,Please Check the Header Post before you ask for any options..Also.. Why are you increasing the job of a Mod,I mean i just saw Some where close to 6 threads for the tyres moved to this..check the whole thread out... you wopuld find a tyre not for your bike but for yourown self as well..

@Adises: Number1: The tubeless tyres reduces the hassle of Puncture etc.
              Secondly, Improves performance
Thirdly,We all get Alloys Now,So No Need to change the rim to put Tubeless..
Fourthly,If you get Nitrogen Filled... Forget About filling the Air for a couple of months!
Fifthly,It is good at high speeds
Sixthly, There is absolutely 0% chance of tyre burst accident!
Seventhly,Carry your own repair Kit,BY the time its deflating and if you can see it..put in the Substance and fix it..you can easily carry the tyre till the Nearest GAS Station, and get some air in it and You are again ready to ride!!

              Thanks!

              -Cheers

              • @L.P : Dude, i dont want to upgrade the size of the front tyre...want it to be stock with 2.75...so, is the 2.75 18" Tubeless variant available too..!??

For the Rear tyre the Zapper Q 100/90 18" or the Zapper Q 110/80 18" will be fine..!

If possible, the prices of these would be a real help..

Yes. And even while returning from our Hampi trip, after hitting that something on the road in dark I knew air was out but I rode for over 20 minutes until I reached a safer place to check it.

I have a good number of incidents where tubeless saved lives, tube type crashed or gave near misses!

Have a few incidents that prove the above statement!

                          - On my previous tyres Zapper C's, I this puncture that would never get fixed after trying to repair it twice. So I was riding like that @ 7-10psi pressure for a good 1.5K kms before getting new tyres....

                          - On my current vyde rear tyre, I had a nail in my rear tyre which I noticed before I entered Bombay. Din't bother to get it repaired, rode all the way back from Bombay to Bangalore doing 100+ speeds. Then rode inside the city for another 2K kms before finally getting it repaired...

Yea, I know I'm lazy when it comes to tyres.....but hey atleast we know Tubeless tyres Rock!
