AFAIK since both the bikes run 18" wheels front/rear, there shouldn't be much of a problem.Originally posted by Richard View Post

Tubeless Tyre for Zma
Need Help!!
The MRF Dealer here told me that the new MRF Zappers are not available in 18'. Is it true?? These are tubeless? Right??
How about michelin M45?? Is there any equivalent to M45 from Michelin which is tubeless also??
I want a 120 rear tyre.
Unfortunately I am using a Vee Rubber Tubeless 120 TyreRachit K Dogra

Am not sure if Zapper Q 18" are available as tubeless... coz its not mentioned on their website. Just drop in a feedback on their website and let them answer your queries.(they reply immediately)
See if you can get IRC tyres... they are tubeless... and more or less good compared to Michelins.Chetan

Well, I just bought a Dunlop Challenger 101 for my Shogun. If you go back a page or 2 you can see its pic. After using it for 2 - 3 days, I'd say its not a bad tyre. But I think it performs better on loose gravel/sand... so kinda better off-road. For on road... like city and highway driving (which is my case), the Challenger is a better option, as I said before.Originally posted by Shivanshu View PostHello friends....... I don't know why some people say MRF is better. I have a Zapper Y on my CBZ (rear), and I think both these Dunlops have better grip compared to it. The front Zapper FS is decent, IMHO. The Zapper Y performs worst on wet roads and loose gravel/sand. Of course, it might not be the best way to compare as I'm comparing different tyres on different bikes. But if you feel the rubber on both these tyres, it definitely seems that the Dunlops are the one with the stickier compound.
Don't know how long the tyres last comparatively though... only time can tell.
Lastly, please dont base your buying decisions based on my experience. I'v only stated my limited experience with the 2 Dunlops and 1 MRF (all in the rear), as mentioned. I'm sure there are many more people out here with far more experience with many other tyres.
Does anybody have any idea if stickier tyres (like Dunlop, when compared to MRF, mentioned above), esp. those with a block type pattern of the Challenger 101 lead to a drop in fuel efficiency?

It is a tube type tyre. It is very good for Karizma. I am gonna put either Sirac 120 or M45 at my next change which is due around the corner. My current rear tyre is a Dunlop Monster with similar threading to M45. It served me very well for 28000 km and is still holding good. Had been a good companion in many off-raoding situations.Originally posted by inder.cool View PostYa rite..!!
Its a "tube-type" one....i had called up at the Michelin Dealer here in pune...!!
