  • If RaviKiran has used it as a tubeless, then anyone can use it as a tubeless. Everyone knows how much his bike can been through in just over a year!

        Buddy, if its confirmed from the Manufacturer itself then there's no point in arguing over the same issue..!!

        • ^^^The "manufacturer" is not a unitary entity. The customer facing people who (may) confirm will very likely not be those who made the product.

          Something like a call centre that dishes out utter rubbish... far removed from facts (just an eg.)!

          Upto you... if you want to believe them.

          • Just shot a mail to Michelin India regarding M45 and Sirac. Waiting for the reply.

            Now it is not whether 'we believe them' or not. We already believed them, and have been successfully using them as tubeless without any issues.

            Also, I would like to know did you ever come across with any dealer who said the MRFs, Dunlops, Ceats and other branded tyres which are to be used as Tube type can be used as Tube less?? If not, why only for Michelins? Could they tell us blindly that we can use the Sirac or M45 as tubeless?

            Anyway, I have shot a mail to Michelin India. We see what they reply.

            • Bought Dunlop Smart 90/90-17 for my RTR.

              Tyre looked gr8. complete soft compound ala R15 tyre's. Tread was similar to Geo crusier.

              But am not happy with the way my bike is handling now. It gives awesome grip both on tarmac and off road but handling completly sucks. Contact patch is way to less.

              Hoping to change the front tyre tomorrow with someother tyre. IRC or R15 tyre may be!

              Have attached the pics. Though the tyre looks meaty. it took a V shape as soon as it was fitted. Guess thts the problem with the tyre.

              Bike handles as if the fork has been set very tight

              am anyways visiting the svc before i go to change the tyre

                          @all

                          Went t the SVC today beofre going to the tyrewala. and my doubt were right. Fork was tight. it was resetted and the hadling was back to normal. so it was'nt the tyre which was causing the problem!

                          Till now am quiet ok with the tyre. has run abt 100-125kms sice i changed it. braking has improved and the road grip too. I have to change the rear tyre too now. the new tyre clearly show how ****ed up the rear tyre is

                          and mmy speedo is almost accurate now. previously at 4k rpm my bike used to do 53kmph now it does 50-51kmph
