I have been having some problems with the rear tyre of my R15, I hope some of you can help me, especially the Mumbai xBhp members.

I had repaired about 5 punctures on my R15 last month, using the sticky liquid sealant. This was done at a road-side mechanic's place. Now whenever I inflate the rear tyre, it leaks air slowly, and is completely flat at the end of the day. I have shown it to three different tyre "mechanics", but they cant seem to find any more punctures! Wht could the air leakage be attributed to?

In any case, I decided to replace the tyre, even though it is just 2,800km old. However, the MRF strike means that the Zapper S is virtually non-existent with Mumbai MRF dealers (I have tried Sign and Metro). Does anyone know where I can source the tyre in Mumbai? Please help!
Hi, I had a similar issue on my Fiero. The issue was a tiny slit on the input nozzle. No idea how that got cut, but that's where the air was slowly leaking from. Had to replace the tube as it cannot be repaired.

Hey thanks, the R15's tyres are tubeless btw. Will still check the valve though.

Remove the nails and have it fixed at the earliest! Why would you want to ride around with nails in the tyre? You could check after removing the nails though, if the tyre is actually losing air, by pouring some water on the area.

I had not done extensive rides on the bike since it's raining heavily here. Used the tyres for only 150 KMS !

The thread design I liked it very much although the contact patch is average. The compound is neither too soft nor too hard like MRF. Also, as told before because of the rains I cannot comment on the braking.

                      The ride quality is OK.

Thanks for your report. But, in Kerala we're having heavy monsoons and I don't know how it'll work in aquaplaning situations.

How is braking with disc brakes ?
