Tubeless tyres will be good fun...CEAT vertigo rage is one of the best for handling & grip

Ceat Vertigo is very good for Offroading & it can actually be called as Dual purpose tyre.

For rear you get 100/90-18 & it should cost in Between 1200-1300 & for front never ever go for Ceat Vertigo as this is buttons tyres the ride will become bumpy & at high speeds thier will be wobbling ( My personal experience of 15k kms with front ceat vertigo tyre)

I Believe you can keep stock for front else go for Dunlop Mystery

                • Rear tyre for Honda Unicorn ???

Yesterday while going back home from office, my bike suffered a puncture wherein a very long nail got inside the tyre immediately puncturing it. I had to change the tube altogether and put a dunlop 100/90/18 tube. The tyre too developed a hole but the mechanic did manage to patch it from inside.
But i think it will be a better idea to change the tyre also.
So can anyone suggest me which tyre to go for and how much would be the approximate cost ??
Currently i have the MRF Nylon Zapper 100/90/18 (IIRC) tyre.

                      1. MRF Zapper Q
                      2. Ceat Vertigo
                      3. Dunlop Geo Cruiser
                      4. Dunlop Monster

All the above tyres are decent enough to run for atleast 20-25k kms ( I belive Monster & Vertigo can run little longer than rest two)

Coming to prices everything should be in between 1200-1400 max

Hope this will be of some help.

                      • Any 100/90-18 tubeless tire ??

Ceat vertigo is tubeless only in 120/80 not 100/90. (Atleast the one I could locate)

What about ZMR tire ?? Which brand is it ?? Is it soft compound ??

                          • Called this michelin dealer in chennai he quotes :

                            Front:

Tubeless michelin 2.75 X 18 =Rs1050(How could a michelin that too tubeless cost this much).

                            Rear:

                            Dunlop tubeless 100/90 X 18 = Rs1650

He also says he has tubeless tyres from ceat

Puncture repair kit = Rs 275(5 strips).

Should i go for the dunlop tubeless at the rear? or should i go for something else .

                              1. The tyre is definitely tube type.
                              2. The price does not sound right either.

What is the Dealer name ?
