No, it is Sirac! See this: Michelin motorcycles tyres in India - Page 7 - India Travel Forum, BCMTouring.com where on post number 241 I have mentioned the same thing and Mr Gaurav Lal (GoGreen here) has agreed to it." I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not" - Kurt Cobain

My comments are in view of performance perception of IRC tyres in other markets like Japan , Thailand, Malaysia etc where their performance is not so bad either and has a good reputation.Originally posted by HydBiker View Posthmmm... So, the same goes to say about EuroGrip tyres.
And, they use EuroGrip tyres for at least 10 times more number of bikes than they use IRC for. Would that make the EuroGrip better than IRC?
It is not the quantity of tyres that are put by a bike manufacturer, that determines the performance of tyres. If Eurogrip is put on 10 times more bikes, does that indicate IRC is any inferior ? I don't think so.
The only point is that if a set of tyres has been tested on a bike, it wouln't be too bad for the bike, otherwise those tyres wouldn't be OEM fitment.

It is true that Tubeless Sirac is available in 100/90 18. We are in the process of phasing out this tyre and for that reason, you will not find it on our website. There are few stocks available here and there, but you won't find it in too many places.Originally posted by rajesh1136 View Postthen its not sirac. Check in their site. OH MY GOD!! I recently changed my rear tyre to ceat vertigo as sirac was available in 120/80 dimension. Had I known that sirac is available in 100/90 I would have gone for it. I wonder why michelin is phasing out production of this dimension. Michelin sirac is only available in single dimension for both 17 and 18" wheels. I am sure having more dimensions would boost up sales. So both the customer and seller would be happy. Thanks for your suggestions. Will keep them in mind. By the way 4.00 18 M45 is an equivalent size to 100/90 18 and is available in most cities. That could have been an option too.Originally posted by basumataryraj View PostOH MY GOD!! I recently changed my rear tyre to ceat vertigo as sirac was available in 120/80 dimension. Well I needed a tyre which works well on muddy conditions. M45 if I am not wrong works well on tarmac. Therefore, had to go for ceat. By the way is m62 good for muddy conditions? I need to change the front tyre as well. Raj.Originally posted by GoGreen View PostThanks for your suggestions. Will keep them in mind. We need 100/90 x 18 Tubeless. That's the size that fits most bikes with 18" rims and there is no tubeless option available. If Michelin can make one available, nothing like it.Originally posted by GoGreen View PostThanks for your suggestions. Will keep them in mind.
