    Hi!!!!
    I am using Suzuki GS150R...
    My rear tyre has taken up enough of punctures and think should go for a change...
    I personally love to have a bigger tyre, but at the same time don't want to change the rim also
    Not an xpert in tyres but wondering...
    I was considering Ceat Vertigo Range And MICHELIN SIRAC...

    I would like Mr Go Green to help me out on this

      Another is the Ceat Vertigo which is a pure offroad tyre afaik.

      Both these tyres should be available at bike tyre shops at Lamington Road/Milan Subway.

      Then there are others but for Ladakh these tyres are well suited I feel

        I would like to know the usage pattern for your bike.
        Is it only for city riding or is it meant for touring and trail as well ?
        How many days in a year do you tour if you plan to tour ?
        In city conditions, do you ride mostly on good roads, or rugged road ?
        In terms of percentage, how much is the ride ratio between dry and wet ?

          Michelin does not offer tubeless tyres in its portfolio currently. The tyre from the Michelin range that you are looking for is the 120/80 18 Sirac and it is the perfect tyres for taking to the hills.             Well i've heard that before....
            Trust me i had both IRC MB99 and RX-01 in my hand. MB99 is a well know soft compund tyre. While i could see the MB99 respond to the hand squeeze, the RX-01 was as hard as a nut shell.

            Some say RX-01 is a hard compund while other say it just has a stronger casing.... for me though.. it is hard to imagine it as a soft compund.


            and yeah.... the stock IRC's that come in a P200, i was almost able to fold them and squeeze them into my bag... they were so soft

              sirac is available in the 100/90/18 size and it is tubeless.only catch is it is a front tyre so you have to fit it in the opposite direction.

                We are in the process of phasing out this tyre, although you can still find stocks with some dealers

                  Mostly on Chennai city roads only sir....
                  Not much of touring.. Only during rains the roads becomes wet here..
                  Would prefer a thick looking tyre but without much of modifications..
                  As i mentioned earlier my bike is GS150R
                  I like the way MICHELIN SIRAC looks
                  Wondering if i can fix it

                    The true potential of a Sirac goes much beyond wet Chennai roads, but yes you can fit the tyre instead of the stock 100/90 18 size on the GS150R. You need to make sure you have an experienced mechanic. You will not need any modifications.

                      Thanks gaurav for his contact number, I called him up after checking up with Michelin dealer here in trivandrum for the last time this saturday and He was quick to respond today itself. Only then i came to know that they were misleading me with wrong info, they had the stock with them for all these days, which they confirmed with Mr.Abhilash . I would go and pick it up tomorrow itself, sad this is happening after a minor spill in wet road in the weekend.

                            Tube type tyres or tubeless tyres

                            Guys can u tell me that which tyres are better for drag racing . (Tubeless tyres or tube type tyres).......I have booked a pulsar 220 street fighter and i want to know that which type of tyres are good for racing on it.Please guys reply fast.

                                Hello,

                                like av3ng3r me too on the lookout for a 90x90x17 tyre for my pulsar. It has a couple of tears and I see no point in reparing those especially since the tyre seems to have worn out a lot.

                                Any ideas guys? I know the 2.75-17 Zapper FS is the choice but any other tyres I can go for? Can I go for a bigger tyre in the front, like the 100x90x17? Is it advisable?

                                I have the Sirac 120x90x17 as my rear tyre .

                                Also, looking to buy a tube. Are 120x90 tubes available in the market?
