IRC tyres are available in Hyderabad, but nothing specific from Karizma. They are more in for 17 inch rims.

I am looking at Vee rubber for the front tyre.
I have a Sirac too and there seems to be an air leakage . Probably a bent alloy. I had the same issue with my previous MRF tyre but thought it was due to the 5 punctures on the tyre. Sadly that wasn't the case!

What tube size you using? I have the 120x90x17 Sirac. Can I get a tube that size?

120/90 17 tubes are available from most manufacturers. I have seen Dunlop brand tubes myself many times in that size.

I keep getting 120x80x17 and haven't seen a 120x90x17 yet . I asked around in 6 shops so far and the standard reply was '120x90x17' is not manufactured atall!!!

Anyways, guys, how is the Dunlop Zebra Y plus for the front? It costs 1100 bucks?

120/80 or 120/90 is not too much of a difference. You can use it for your Sirac.

                • Have been using TVS JUMBO 120/80-16 on my 04' Discover from 3yrs/27k kms+.
I am happy with the dry grip it offers and kinda positive for its cornering abilities!

Now, the 16" spoke rim is lil bent causing a lot of vobbling and its time to change the tyres also.

Which tyres/brand do u guys suggest considering the below aspects:
                  Tube type/Spokes rim
                  VFM
                  Mileage
                  Comfort
                  Dry Grip
                  Wet Grip
                  Braking distance
Sopper grip for street cornering (I know many are against it, but still!)

Or should i go back to stock 17" if there are any good range of rubber available?
@Gaurav: Are Mich's available for 16" Rim Dia?

                    • TL for my apache 150 07 G1

hi pals can u suggest me which tyre i should go for my apache 150 '07 model.
The stock tyres are tube type with front 17" 90/90 and rear 18" 100/80 . i haven't gone for tyre change they have run 20 k till now. Recently in my haridwar nd dehradun trip i ended up with flat tyre twice. Im ok with upsizing my tyres and kindly advice me on make of tyres i should go for and max sizing possible without any alterations like removal of chain guard etc... I heard that TL comes with special alloy wheels so can i go to TL with stock alloy wheels???

i searched the forum for apache but i ended with no results so kindly help me.....

im planning for ladakh this july so kindly suggest me to choose mine accordingly

The Sirac is ideal tyre for this purpose. Try and find if you can a 100/90 18 Sirac. This particular tyre is being phased out and so you may not find it at too many places. You can check with a mechanic if they will be able to fit 120/80 18 Sirac without any major modifications. If it works out, that can be an option. I know many pulsar riders who have upsized from 100/90 18 to 120/80 18 without issues.

                        • Thanks for the reply i inferred from earlier threads that sirac can also be used as Tubeless however in one of your earlier replies you said not preferred. Incase i use it as tubed one (what its intended to be) mostly i wont be facing flat tyres atleast. Iam more worried about flat tyres.

regarding front 17 90/90 i would like to stick to the same. can you suggest me which one i should be go for???

Guys please tell me about handling flat tyres in ladakh- do you find puncture shops there????

                          • for front by same i meant size and not the tyre's make.

                            • @arun14 - If you can find the Mrf Zapper FS, please go for that.

I have the Dunlop Zebra Y-Plus but unsure how good the tyre is just yet as it is pretty brand new.
