Heard that R15's stock tire is the best for R15.Dont know much about that.but putting 120 or 130 will definitely decrease your top end.Originally posted by RhythmRana99 View Post

I have used both MRF moto-c/moto-d , moto-c is better , but both are directional rear tyres IMO . I have them on my RX135 and now my splendor . Moto-C is excellent for rough roads / broken asphalt / wet muddy slush and good for normal indian roads too . For front tyre I use MRF RIB but MRF zapper FS is also very good for front tyres .Originally posted by neil_1668 View Postfor the REAR.... I'm confused between...
MRF METEOR??
MICHELIN M45??
CEAT VERTIGO SPORT??
& for the FRONT.... I'm confused between...
MRF MOTO C??
MRF MOTO D??
MICHELIN M62'GAZELLE??
CEAT SECURA SPORT??
I need Dual-Purpose Tyres... which will perform well in On/Off Road both..

Coming to the front tire,I had seen moto-d used as rear tires in RX here, don't know how it performs as front fitment,So i am selecting M62 Gazelle for Front.

Thanks Bro...
But.. i think CEAT VERTIGO SPORT is available in 100/90 size even... nyways... I'll prefer MRF METEOR more than VERTIGO... !!
n Since M62 is of harder compound thn M45... i think it'll be better..!!>> RiDe SaFe > RiDe LoNg >>

hmm.. but some people use MOTO-C & D in front even...Originally posted by Pinaki View PostI have used both MRF moto-c/moto-d , moto-c is better , but both are directional rear tyres IMO . have no idea how it performs..!!
MRF Zapper FS... is an excellent tyre.. I have been using it in my Karizma R... for the past 29000kms..
It has excellent grip & handling...in Corners even..
only.. of Off-Road/ Dirt conditions it cant perform well...>> RiDe SaFe > RiDe LoNg >>

Moto-C was the favourite rear tyres for 19" bullet's rims too .Originally posted by neil_1668 View Posthmm.. but some people use MOTO-C & D in front even...

Since it is now fashionable to flaunt the most disproportionately fat tyres with the most aggressive looking tread patterns , so many people will do many things
. I cannot see my tyres while riding 'em , so I'd rather stick to what rides best for me
.
As you already have good experiences with zapper-FS go for it in front .
Stick to the stock size for front , fatter front will degrade your steering and pickup . You should not expect any tyre to perform it's best in both urban roads and dirt-tracks and wild forest trails at once . Decide what 80% of your riding surface will be and fit tyres accordingly . Rest 20% you shall survive
.
michelin M45's are great tubed city road tyres , a bit quicker to wear ... but great grip . You can try them for the rear . For mucho less money MRF zapper-Q / nylogrip-plus is also good for rears .Last edited by Pinaki; 04-17-2011, 04:12 PM.

A friend of mine used Moto-D in Pulsar 1stG front, had to change to Zapper. Didn't even rode a week on Moto. Cornering as very difficult with that.Originally posted by neil_1668 View Posthmm.. but some people use MOTO-C & D in front even...
