Beautiful changes in rear and side looks but engine specs are still hidden..

I hope these pics are clicked in India .. as a few xBHPians say they noticed the bike on the move.. I am dying to have a look at it!!

Wow! The red+white & the black looked so understated.
This will easily be the BEST looking 'Made in India' bike once launched.

I just hope Yamaha have something more than an all-new look in place.
Whats hidden beneath that all-new fairing better be worth (equal to or more than) hundreds of pages of server space on this thread.

I am happy to be owner of Yamaha YZF R15. I already bought Red R15 before 2 months! I waited for almost 6 months. It would be a matter of great pleasure to know if the engine is also upgraded in this newer version. I will definitely exchange if the engine is upgraded.

These images are all intetionally leaked. to build excitement hype. So many spy images are coming. All with same similarity, UNCLEAR R** sticker. That says it all.

From what little I know, its the same mill.. it just employs new gear ratio and a unrestrcited ECU. The idea is to make it more torquey and bump the 'top speed'

when i saw it at Bandra...
the riding position looked virtually identical to the current R15.
it's the pillion who'll tire quicker on long rides.

Bajaj Avenger 350??

I will throw in some speculation from my end here.

Since there has been:

1. Confirmed news that Bajaj and KTM are working on 125 - 350 cc engines.

In addition to the already entered KTM markets, new market opportunities in emerging markets come along with the serial production of entry-level street motorcycles (125cc to 350cc), which will be launched in late fall 2010 in cooperation with Bajaj Auto Ltd. The fist step will be Brazil, where the market offensive is already in the preparation stage.

2. Confirmed news that the new edition of the pulsar would be based on an all new KTM platform.

3. And we have already seen how the Avenger gets the Pulsar engine.

I think it is safe to assume to some degree that the new 350 pulsar will be followed by a Avenger 350. If this happens... it will be great news for cruiser lovers like me.

I know that I am connecting the dots and engaging in wishful thinking... but hey this is a speculation thread and a guy can speculate

Why would they want a KTM engine on a Cruiser! Thats like asking Tom Cruise to look happy! They have Kawasaki for that, and not so long ago when there was no CBR, Kawasaki DID mention that they are
1) Working on a bike based on the Ninja250 for India
2) That the cruisers from kawasaki could soon be around..

if the avenger gets the 350cc "newPulsar" (which will have a completely new chasis) engine...

the "new" Avenger 350 will need a serious make-over too.

on a serious note tho...
it's more likely that Kawasaki will come up with something in the cruiser segment.

These pics are definitely not spy pictures. I am 100% sure that yamaha is releasing these pics to build excitement and make CBR250 buyers wait for the new Yamaha Baby 'R'. Try to zoom in the pics, you wil notice that Rxx has been blurred out through photoshop to make it look like R45.
