Looks makes it more beefy now, a true sportsbike feel, remapped ECU means running around with possible 22bhp and redlining engine on tap.

It is a 150cc Supersports feeling ,way different from "that's all...."

And watch your post first before guiding others, whats the source of your info on the HONDA CBR 150RR ?? eh ?
There is no such bike for the two-wheeler market and if there is a bike it has to be HONDA CBR 150R.

i don't remember exactly but i think r15 was out 3-4 months after i spotted it, fz was out in 2-3 months time n fazer was out in less than a month.....

So I shall wait for 3-4 months before booking.

these are the upcoming bikes in an year :

1. P250/P220 with new tech
2. R15/17 [as we know] + some scooters
3. Honda CBR150R
4. Hyosung GT250R [waiting for it ]
5. Hyosung GT650
6. suzuki 250 [mostly street/tour version]
7.TVS new model in 200+
8.KTM duke 125/200
9. Lot of Hero Moto re-colored splendor and passions

some might launch this year end .. some may never see the light

i guess the first pics(Black R15) comes out at November and now 7 months passed by....from a factory pic out recently...it is clear that there are wide color options for the new R15,.......from the number plates its clear that there are a dozens of R15 out there now........if its just a cosmetic change it could have been launched earlier....a cosmetic change doesn't need 7 month test run....

from this it is clear that it got big changes under the skin.....
a word about the old stock...........maybe Yamaha is planning a cheaper R15(existing one) and an expensive R15(newer version) for India

that link is dated 26th October 2010. that's BEFORE the CBR250R was here.

it's very unlikely the CBR 150R will reach here anytime soon.

anyways guys, there's already a stand alone thread on the new R15...
and this thread is meant to cover all speculated 2011 bikes but it seems its getting more of the R15 speculation... please stick to the thread originality.

from the spy pics and the time durations it seems they are doing extensive test of the machine .. if its only a body change .. then i think they have not went to this much of testing .. by the test runs they were doing ..we can simply say that there is something big change relating to Engine ..

its just a common sense that already top performance bike will not be detuned for the same marked for the sake of just look

Yamaha is eyeing the 250cc segment with d new R15 jus lyk they entered into the 220cc segment wid d old R15.........d old R15 can keep up wid a P220 which ve posses 21hp....so if d new bike got 22bhp....its sure gonna take the game away from the CBR250.....the pricing of the new R15 will be close to non ABS version of CBR...........


i'm damn sure that 22bhp R15 can keep up with the CBR............senses some serious business from Yamaha

the pricing of the new R15 will be close to non ABS version of CBR.

it wouldn't make sense for Yamaha to change the pricing of the R15 by that much.
not unless they decide to keep the current R15 in production too.

and with all the complaints of the current R15 being under stocked...
it seems like they're clearing their current inventory. before they lauch the revamped version.

(now why would they need to do that if their new bike is priced much higher?)

the new R15 will prolly have a significant bump in performance... yes.

a significant bump in pricing? no.
