I think u didnt get my point my friend. Say if Yamaha told that r15 would be launched in 7days and to keep their word they bring out r15 with underperforming engine and poor handling due to hurry would the potential buyer buy that r15?
Let them properly test their thing first then surely they will come out with some concrete.

Yes, my friend, even I don't want R15 (or whatever it is) to be released soon and then have quality issues. All I am looking for is an official statement from Yamaha saying that they are working on a new bike with this much cc and they are expecting to release it in say, 2 or 3 months or may be even by year end. I think such a statement would put an end to a lot of speculations going on here. :-)

now im gonna speculate that we will get zx-10r or ninja 1000 in sep-oct 2011 what say you(xbhp)

Suzuki likes Honda's line-up the most,
That is why,

A new 110cc bike from Suzuki with robust engine and good mileage would be coming up.It is expected to have totally upmarket looks and would take the CB Twister head-on.Expected to be around by October.

Next, a new version of the existing GS150R is coming up and is sqaurely targeting the CB Dazzler. The new bike would sport similar 150cc engine platform as used on the GS150R but would have lighter weight to carry,new body design and slight increase in performance.Apart from that expect a sportier riding position and nice graphics.............If you imagine that it is a ultra-refined high quality Apache RTR160 hyper-edge from Suzuki meant for highway and city both, you aren't far off from the real machine. The possible launch is in August or September.

Last but not the least, CBR250R has made news for Honda and now it is time for Suzuki to sway its own way............the GW250 inline twin is expected by November-December 2011.

Because there was 'confirmed' news of that same bike was being launched by a reputed web site some time back and later suzuki gave official news saying that they are having absolutely no plans of launching the bike soon... that news hurted me a lot ... but suzuki might have realised the potential of the indian 1.5-2 lakh customer and changed their mind...

As far as I know, right now........Suzuki is very busy to gain in with their new 100cc bike, so other models would also be there around but may not be focused widely now.

The GW250 would come to India by this year-end but would not coincide its launch with the 100cc launch,which means if the 100cc comes up late around in November then expect the GW250 to come up in the first quarter next year.

Hence this is the news, I have speculated nothing here, its just solid news before time.

But everyone can take these as rumors or another speculation on the speculation thread though they are welcome to believe it if they want to(only Suzuki loyalists would do this )........because I cannot give up the specifics of the source of this information(all I can say it is not online).

@ mach....I am talking about the bigger machines....about GS150/180R(let's see whose ears heard the truth) I know....i needed info regarding the gsxr600,750,gsx750(waiting for this one) and the bking(I know u waiting with lots of patience)..as they were shown specifically in the advertisement.....with saying"The world RIDES on Suzuki...now India will"....Suzuki guys you hearing.....

AFAIK the US version of Ninja is carb version and does lot less power than Ninja here. And Ninja here is a CKD and CBR is manufactured here. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Probably the 250s will be gt250r. One with full faring and the other would be naked version. And it would be priced to compete with CBR 250r. As in US i think.

you didn't mention if you thought the price in India would be
the CBR250R 1.6 lac price or the more or less 2.7 lac ish price tag in the US.

have you seen the GT650R in the flesh?

the GT250R looks almost exactly the same.
it's looks huge. it's prolly the biggest 250cc available today.



Hyosung will capitalize on that fact.

Benefits of launching a bike in poserland.
(not to say that the bike isn't a performer.
it'll prolly be one up in performance when compared to the CBR250R)


6-8 year old Comet 250's get a resale value of 1 to 1.2 lac here.

do you really think the GT250R would cost just 1.6 lac???
