It's a choice my dear friendOriginally posted by shivaprasad.ms View PostYou are right. I personally feel these non-functional cosmetic embellishments are unduly priced. I call them non-functional because they are there only to improve the bike's aesthetics. I am aware even a single nut has its own funtion
Just meaning that the prices are not justified.
A bike's aesthetics are as important as the functional bits too.
Branded goods do cost in the same range across most websites give or take a few dollars.Originally posted by AmlanR_CBR View Postso i was wrong, its not 400 rs then, its 800rs for a complete kit!!
800 rs just for a lining of radium sticker??
..
since we donot have much choice in this matter anyways.

@DK: finally the thread is up.. Great initiative.
My order confirms in a day or two.. But it would just be the tank pad(swirl) as of now.
Would like to get the frame sliders and the much much neccessary rad-gaurd. So update when you are done..
btw, guys the stock wind screen is almost useless beyond 100kmph. so do think before spending on just a tinted one. I am waiting for a double bubble screen.. That may help.. Had seen one on a thai cbr250r. So please update if any source to get that..You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

That is a double bubble screen. It is said to had revolutionalized the airflow on sbks and is widely used now. Its effect can be clearly seen from its shape..(over the OEM screen)
Now, the picture above is just to illustrate the db screen.. (plus it has a cbr too
) if not this exact one, i want something better than OEM windscreen. As on long tours, tucking behind that low screen is a pain. And in straight position, the windflow directly hits the chest or neck level.
This info may be OT in the accessory section and maybe shifted to a proper place

Never mind, hit the engine start button to get going again.
PS: i dont think this is off topic because people who didnt know abt bubble double visors (like me) will know of it now and then wise decide what they want.
