    what we or rather me want is an affordable inline 4 cylinder street bike. like FZ6, CBR600F, CB400/600 within 5 lacs.

    any OEMs listening to this? Its a virgin territory and whoever launches it first would capture a huge market.

    just my thought.

    even the costliest hd's are air cooled;that wont detemine the performance of a bike entirely ; the 2012 gts come with fuel injection and not carbed ones;

    hero probably would come with a premium 150cc bike as yammy have their r15 and honda is about to bring in the cbr150r or may be a quarter litre whatever it is will have to wait long wish it comes with buell styling

    Read somewhere that the Hyosung gt 250r may not even have a liquid cooled engine.And that It would be a carbed version.Weighing in at around 180 kgs,don't know how it would fare performance wise when compared to the other quarter liters.But Dont really know how far these rumors are true,If some other members can clarify..

    With that pricing it would be a disaster!!

    On-road pricing of max 2.1-2.2 would be somewhat ideal. But i dont know whether its feasible/possible for Garware or not!!

    Nice, i hope there are buyers for this, in fact i hope so many people buy it that BMW gets tempted to manufacture it locally
    I am waiting for the G650GS too. Tried and tested single cylinder engine set up which can go anywhere. Low seat height ideal for flat footing and relatively lower compression ratio can drink up the regular Indian fuel. Just so ideal for India, but don't know how many people will buy since everyone seems to want a faired motorcycle!

    I think BMW should rather concentrate on reducing the price of its bikes first by setting up proper facilities first. That said, hope the next one after this is the F800 R... can hardly wait...

    Sorry guys. Called up the manager directly to know if the information is true, and he told me that the GT250R will be launched only in early May. Even though they might take the bookings before that. The price will be around 2 lacs but that is again an un-confirmed information he has received.

    Service backup is the only thing which Hyosung/Garware need to look into which will make or break the future of this bike.

    Every other thing is secondary in this case.
