The bookings must be non official...;
If not, are the dealers qouting the exact price??
and, is there two different price for Different set of tyress??(MRF and EUROGRIP)..

Also, does the broucher pictures have dual colour bikes as shown during the unveiling, or single tonned colour as seen in the test bikes??

And what does 19th April -- the LAUNCH date mean???
will the bike be available to the public from that day, or will the official booking start from that day??
I guess the former is highly Unlikely to be true!!!

Dealers not told exact price.
They said from next week they get info about price and other things.
And, the dealer told me that 19th is all India launch. That's all. I think display or test ride bikes will arrive on 19th April and bookings also a possible delivery time of end of April (10 more days after 19th) or First week of May...(Max 20 days for delivery)

Here in Kerala, Cochin and Thrissur showrooms confirmed 19th April is all India launch.
And there is a broucher arrived in showrooms about the engine specs.
Colors when asked, they said
Red
Blue
Black
Yellow

and will get bike in last April or First week of May. that is too much

I forgot one critical entry - the Triumph Bonneville - 5.5 lacs (sweeeeeeeeet)

And the answer to your question is an unequivocal YES. The day either the V Strom or the BeeVee is released, I file for a divorce from my CBR. She is a good girl, Prince, but she is not the woman for me. You being a married man will understand exactly what I mean.

Already started saving for either of the two... Let us see what the last quarter of 2012 brings.

The No. Plate in those pics say [MH - XX - TCE - XXX].
Does this "TCE" mean its a test bike????
Never seen such a no in other bike......

I am posting this in accordance with the title of this thread.

Some car and bike magazines I subscribe to have indicated the launch of the following bikes, all in mid to end 2012:

BMW F650 - Rs 8 to 10 lacs (ouch)

BMW G650GS - Rs 6 to 7 lacs (less ouch)

Suzuki V Strom 650 - Rs 5 to 5.5 lacs (great)

I personally am waiting for the V Strom - it will be THE ideal bike for my needs. Anybody has fresh news about this one, please update!

Since Zigwheels are very close to Bajaj Auto (Only Auto-Experts to have ride of P200NS even before displayed to public) their news can be taken to be true. also the confidence in their writing reflects this.
- P200NS will have 55W lamps which is superb. They already have 45W lamps according to them which is better than normal 35W lamps anyways.
- Mix of MRFs & TVS europgrips. Speculate optional (sticky) tyre.
- Production to begin by end of this month.
- Many +ve changes may be carried out.

55W headlamp is a welcome change and infact a much desired change. 55W DC headlamps..wow HID ready
