i simply raised my opinion about pricing whereas you attacked me personally.

it will be better if you return to your senses quick enough.
    Prince .. calm down ..

as per the issue here not many ridden the bike ..so its immature to quote on its price/quality or the bike itself.

I cant think of anyway to justify myself man lol leave it. Pulsar is not a cheap brand, its VFM brand. Maybe you can start a company with collaboration with some China co. to get a 60k 200cc 28bhp 80kmpl bike for india.

Showroom guys called me just now and said "Sir the bike won't be available until July.."
Me : (not surprised) "Hm.Can you tell me when exactly on July?"
    Showroom : "Sorry sir , but we don't know..Do you want to buy the 220 ? "
Me : "No , I will wait for the 200"
SR : "A fresh batch of 220 has just arrived , that's why we called you"
Me : "Okok , I will come tomorrow with my friend" (I have no intention of doing so )

Oh and about the pricing I'm quoting bikeadvic e..
    "
Ok, so after a lot of hoopla and a big round of speculations, we have got the final confirmed price of Pulsar 200NS. Bajaj clearly stated that the bike would be priced below 1 lakh rupees during its unveiling. We had earlier predicted that Bajaj might price it somewhere around the 94-95,000 mark on road and here it goes true.
    P200NS On-Road Price
Pulsar 200NS is priced at Rs 85,273 ex-showroom Pune. With addition of all the essentials the bike would come out to Rs 94,210 on road in Pune. Very smart pricing from Bajaj! It would be interesting to see how would Bajaj handle the 220cc Pulsar now which is placed precariously close to this.
    Pulsar 200NS Pricing breakup:
    Ex-showroom Pune: Rs 85,273
    RTO: Rs 6549
    Insurance: Rs 2087
    Handling Charges: Rs 300
Pune Pro-biking has started taking bookings for this bike. The maximum delivery time they are quoting as of now is a month. Booking amount is Rs 5000 and they expect test and display bikes in a few days from now."
    Peace..

Most 150cc do cost less than 75k, but they don't have features like LC,Petal discs and the R15 costs almost 1.3lakhs, but what would you call that.
The pricing stunned me, terrific move by Bajaj.
And about the original Pulsars, at that point of time, people were not ready for performance bikes and even the technology was not path breaking. But now Bajaj has taken performance biking to a whole new level and i am sure it would sell like hot cakes. You won't get such an affordable bike in the world, which is loaded with features as P200NS has
I wonder now what other companies will be thinking specially TVS.They have launched the so called upgraded Apache and now they have to rethink about their strategy if they have any

^^ no i am not bargaining with bajaj. it is my opinion.

and most 150 CC bikes cost less than 75000.

i feel a price less than 89,999 would have projected an image of an affordable bike. whereas a price tag of 95000 projects it as a costly bike, which costs almost a lakh rupees.

but yes, we now have a cheaper alternative to costly options between 1 to 2 lakhs

when original pulsar was launched, it changed company's fortune's by churning out astounding sales figures, this new pulsar will although sell in good numbers but the numbers won't be that good, to take it away from honda, which is now breathing down the neck of BAL.

personally, i would have loved it at something around 85 to 90 thousand.
Are you bargaining with Bajaj for a couple of 1000s? lol Nobody said anything about taking over the market with just the P200.

Everyone knows that to get volumes you need 100cc bikes let alone 150cc.

To put it in perspective. Most 150cc to 220cc bikes (old gen) cost about 75k-90k , On the other end, (new gen) KTM 200 costs 1.3L, CBR costs 1.5L, Ninja 3L.

Hence the P200NS pricing is bang on and its incredible that with so many additional features over P220 the price hike is only about 10k !

pulsar 200 ns pricing revealed....rumour/ truth...?

guys..is it true that the pulsar 200 ns's pricing has been revealed unofficially or is it just a rumour. It is being published by automotive sites/ blogs like BS motoring, motorbeam etc...according to them they are claiming a ON ROAD pune price of rs90000/- inr with booking also being started. They also seem to claim that the pulsar 200 ns will be dealt though KTM outlets (erstwhile probiking outlets) rather than being sold and serviced through ordinary bajaj outlets....guys please can anyone throw some light on this ...? thank you...
