"Kitna Deti Hai"...would be the most asked questions by owners of every bike. Me too being a prospective buyer would like to know about a bikes city/highway mileage? In every review all the owners clearly mention every minute detail apart from Fuel efficiency. Let this thread be a quick answer to all those unanswered questions. Hope its not too much to ask.

Can be listed on manufacturer wise or highest to lowest mileage . Moderators, please delete if not useful or repeated.

I wonder why no one have mentioned the mileage of CBR 250r? Is it quite low that it can scare people off from buying one?

Fuel Injection! Plus, I never ride at a constant speed. Its always between 4k-6k RPM over long distances. That makes it 64-96 kmph.

Nice! But how can you be so sure that all the fuel you filled was used up entirely? You maybe calculating a little lower than actual kmpl figures my friend.

Divya Sharan: All the fuel efficiency figures are based on tankful-to-tankful method as Thunderbird 500 does not have the manual petrol tap on-off-reserve mechanism. I start the highway trip with petrol upto the brim of the tank. After returning from the trip, I again get the tank filled upto the brim. That's why, you find the same friendly neighbourhood petrol pump at the bottom of the each table! The number of km covered in the trip divided by the total number of litres of petrol between tankful-to-tankful = the actual FE!
