I checked the mileage with a bottle filled with 300 ml of petrol with pipe connected to the carb.Noted down the initial readings and final readings when my bike halted completely with no drop of fuel left.

I checked in all conditions

Still mileage is between 65 to 70 kmpl on highways if driven around 55 to 60(300 ml fuel finishes in around 22.5 kms)
48 kmpl if driven above speed of 80(300 ml finished in around 16 kms)
74 kmpl if driven around speed of 45(Around 25 kms in 300 ml petrol)
Mileage in city: 58 kmpl(near about 20 kms in 300 ml petrol)

Thus
Best Mileage for GLX 125:74 kmpl
worst Mileage for GLX 125:48 kmpl
Top speed: 115 kph


Tata Nano LX
with 2 persons: 28 kmpl without AC and speed near 70
With 4 persons 26 kmpl with speed around 70 without AC
22 kmpl in the hilly areas with 4 people
Around 25 kmpl with AC on and 4 people

Around 20 kmpl in city with AC on

So Nano also gives better figures than gearless scooters

For car,I check from tank full till the empty tank indicator starts blinking

in Delhi i fill 100 rs. petrol daily and drive my bike to Kamla nagar and lajpat nagar and to janak puri and many more other places too. very good average.

outside delhi, i fill 200 rs. petrol and drive all day. I like my bike.

speed in delhi-80-85
outside delhi- 100-125.

Can CD100 do 125? I mean my dad own Splender+ and I have achieved a top speed of 110 on that and I think Splender is better than CD100.

City : 60-65 kmpl

Highways : 65+ kmpl

BTW I did Delhi to Ladakh upto Khardungla and Pangonglake last September (3000 kms) and fuel cost was Rs.3200/- (Fuel cost @ Rs. 65+ to Rs. 73+ in different cities). Considering the hilly terrain, I think I still got around 63-65+ average per litre.

Not sure about fuel efficiency at higher speed though
