U may not feel the difference in short runs.
But on a long ride in this hot summer it'll show U the difference.

Please post a review when U check it.
Not yet, not running it much just 20-30kms a day when i take it out. Semester Exams are going on so once they are over will test it out cuz i'll be doing another 400+ road trip soon. So it should be worth the test then!.

City rides at the moment dont make any sense to test it out as im not using 'storm' more than 20-30kms and sticking to my other bike 'disco' for the commute to college etc.

A 6 hour continuous ride soon should do it as far as testing is concerned. Will update as soon as i can.

Got my R15's tyres filled with N today..

I had strong feeling since past few days that my bike's rear tyre is losing air pressure gradually. I used to fill air one day and the next morning air pressure used to come down to 22-25 from 33.

Today went to an official MRF tyre dealer near my place. They checked the rear tyre and found a small puncture. I had never got a puncture in my bike before - never in life - and this was my first puncture repair with tubeless tyres. That guy poked in something of the size of a big screw driver. The small pin point hole was drilled into an inch broad hole Scared the shit out of me.. Then he inserted some sort of long thread like thing. Anyways.. this may sound funny but I experienced this for the first time.

Charged me Rs. 100/- for the pucnture. Is it normal or he charged me more?

Then thought of filling in N as they had N supply. Didn't ride the bike since but let's see if I feel any difference after N.

Thanx for all the help guys..

      Cheerz..!

Rs 100 is the correct price for a tubeless puncture... I mean, everyone charges the same. Some people are trying to charge Rs 150 these days.

Surprisingly, when ever I fill in N2 into my tyres my rear tyre is getting a puncture pretty soon. Even now I have a nail sitting ducks in the tyre for the past 700 odd KMs. Gotta see tomorrow if the pressure has down... didn't take the bike out since Monday (2 days now) as it is due servicing.

Sorry buddy..no update yet.. I dont use my bike for city commutes often.. Didn't ride the bike yet. Will go to some place near by this weekend on a small 100-150km ride. So will update soon.

One thing I can surely update is, I'll know the difference in pressure loss. Because generally I check air pressure before riding anywhere..even if it's for just 20-30kms city commute. And after 2-3 days of stand still, pressure comes down to 29-30 from 33 in rear tyre. Let's see what's the difference with N2 now..

@LP: Yaar. those 30 ke 5 dont work - they wont hold up. Buy good stuff only yaar.

@Others - DQ. Air anyways contains 78% nitrogen - what value add does the pure nitrogen bring in this hot weather (other weather humidity etc i can understand). but in searing 45 deg temps, what does the nitrogen pump bring as speical?

The kit is okay... cannot comment on the strength of the metal tools.. but then, the sealing sticks need to be good. Where ever I inquire I am being pointed to e-Serv repair kits. Even road side puncture repair shops are using them and one guy told that other brands he tried were not sealing so well.

Feedback based on specific brand would be good. If a particular brand that comes cheaper is holding up well, may be we can try that.

and a Air Pump Electric for another 500/- INR top fill air also!
more info on this one pls... how well does it work? how much battery does it drain? how compact is it? any photos n stuff?

ok i filled nitrogen in my bike tyres FZ 16 2 months ago, and i went for a fill yesterday just cuz i went for second service, pump was hardly 100 m from that place so i dragged the bike so that tyres remain cool. And amazingly there was no change in pressure! the front wass 28!! and rear was 34.9 which he fixed to 33, so no air leakage at all! cant say about mileage as i was getting 34.9 kmpl on revving bike after first service, but i hope it improves now, although N2 did not have much effect on that.

Ok, as promised am back with some of my observations after N2 filling.

I filled N2 some 10 days back. My bike was at stand still for some 5 days since I filled in N2 because I dont use my bike for city commutes. Went for a Mega xBhp G2G on Sunday. Before leaving for ride checked the air pressure in the morning. Air pressure before 5 days of stand still : Front-28 and Rear-33. And air pressure on Sunday morning Front - 28 and Rear - 31. Which as per my knowledge is good because earlier with that much stand still bike used to drop pressure by at least 3-4psi. both front and rear.

Tyres were running cooler than earlier. Can't say bout any difference in riding but there can be some. Braking especially was good.

@ppl with 78% Nitrogen theory, petrol is a derivative of alcohol and normal fuel has a 1% part of ethanol so does whiskey, so why not run bike on whiskey

What could be a decent interval for refilling nitrogen, in terms of kms run??
