sprocketing for p220 dtsi

^^ you will need to increase the number of teeth at the back.. Increase by 2 should be enough to give you what you need... the issue will be which sprocket are you looking at?? the P200??

yes bro..i was thinking about P200 sprocket...should i leave the front sprocket intact?..ie if i go for p200's rear sprocket?

its all rite but what does it means about 1st ,2nd,3rd 4th or 5 th gear ratio.....? HOw Gear ratio is also less in top gear...? how gear ratio will be executes??

Here is my half baked knowledge, experts please correct me if I am wrong.

Gear ratio is the ratio of number of crankshaft revolutions: rear wheel rotations. Ratio less than 1 generally indicates an overdrive gear, to aid high speed crusing.

It is crankshaft as far as I know.

Primary sprocket change

Guys, need to know the advantages and disadvantages in changing the primary sprockets of my lightning 535 from the current 18 teeth to 20 or a 21 teeth and also about the push rods, is it advisable to have a lighter ones or heavier the better?

1. Are you able to source front sprocket bigger than 18 teeth, that fits in a bullet?
2. Is there space to fit a sprocket bigger than 18 teeth?
Now regarding fitting 20/21 teeth in place of 18 at front. That will make your bike struggle to go up even the slightest of slope as such a big front sprocket will make the overall gearing very very tall and as a result it can do more harm to engine than good.
If you want, at the most go for 1 teeth bigger front sprocket.

I agree with u, had a discussion with my mech and he has suggested we can go for a 19 teeth sproc in the place of 18th teeth...am looking for a long highway ride for around 2500kms, might come back and change it back to the original after this ride....

i was thinking about going i for the p220fi rear sprocket ( 37 teeth right ?? ) ..
i have p220 dtsi .. it a 36 rear and 13 front ... not sure about the front though...
will it have an adverse effect on top end ?? because i do go for long rides once in a while but im a city rider mostly .. would love to have a little more torque handy .. yeah i know it has ENOUGH torque but somehow , the quest for acceleration is never anding
anyway i need to get my chain and sprocket set replaced at 12.5k kms ( yes they are busted and i am very disappointed ) ..
so is the p220 fi's front sprocket the same as the dtsi ?? if it is , then ill just get the entire chain and sprocket of fi for my ride ..
and will the 37 rear sprocket affect the top speed and cruising ability too much ??

Ok so I need a new chain sprocket...
I have a p150 classic (round headlamp) need a bigger rear sprocket... is the zma one s direct fit?
6 holes rear sprocket is all the info I can give you. Can someone list the bikes whose chain sprocket kit is a direct swap? Also will appriciate knowledge on a smaller rear sprocket
