      yes, the spitfire cables... couldn't get to ream much detail about them... but one guy in Hyd (Sam92) changed to NGK Iridium Spark Plug with SpitFire cables on his RTR and said mileage went up by 6 KMPL. He rips the bike from the word go.

            Iridium plugs cost Rs 550 at NGK dealers and some regular spares shops are selling at 525. Sam told me that the total cost is about 1K so the spit fire cables should cost abt 500.

            Not sure if I am going for the IX & spitfire but I am sure trying out the Platinum plug on my R15 in a few days.

                He told me the shop but I forgot. Guess it is the same shop he bought the plug & the cable. PM him.

                I don't want to try spit fire cables now - that connects from the coil to the spark plug and don't want to touch that area at the moment.

                      Platinum = ~Rs 130
                      Iridium = ~Rs 550

                          • guys, some info - saw these posters in a mechanic shop about a month ago. Thought would be useful...

                            And here's a small reference chart from a leading spark plugs website

                            Can someone please analyze the Electrical Resistance thing. BTW, we don't have Gold & Silver plugs available so can be ignored.

                            Available in shops in Ram Koti.

                            Plugs available at many shops but cables are not. For full range of plugs, check with the distributor - Commercial Auto in Kawadiguda. Pls get address from the NGK website - ngkntk.in

                            I guess you need not try them on the DIsco first. You can straight away get them on for your RTR.
