Irdium plugs gap should not be adjusted, once its adjusted say bye bye
you will never get that perfection back. only option left to change to newer one.

The gap between the electrode shouldn't be adjusted in the irdium plugs, we have to use it asit is, here is a snap of it.

              Pic sourced from :team bhp

P.S i don't have the snaps of the iridium plugs one in the pic is a normal plug.

EDIT : these links would help

Its the mechanics and service centers guyz who screw it up, in my case my mechanic screwed it up even inspite of me telling him that it was a iridium plug and telling him not to play around with the gap .

but m thinkin of changin some parts,,,,,like...

i enquired about d spark plug,,,NGk makes CRE7IX(single electrode) for older apache,,but d problem is, my new apache have a bigger generator, so it encorporates a DOUBLE ELECTRODE BOSCH.....

n about d KnN paper-airfilter, does my bike will have it easily, instead of foam one,,

BTW i had the same questions when i bought a RTR
1.i am using NGK iridium spark plug .. feels better .. it dosent make a difference if its a single or double electrode .. remember the spark is always 1
i observed a slight better pickup and millege
2.kn filter .. well even i wanted to for it but as few said that it may ruin the engine i opted out

                          3. for you .. power 1 is the best ..after 10000 kn if you can afford then power 1 racing is the ultimate choice

                            i'll fix ma bike wid,,NGK n power1...
but how much increase in mileage n acceleration u got,
n about air-filter,,ya it's true;;NORMALLY, paper air-filter,,ruins d engine coz it let go d air wid not much filteration,,,,,,D BEST IS ''OIL SOKED FOAM AIR FILTER''....
but KnN are d best makers of air-filters,,,their filters are undoubtedly BEST,,,,,,,so deir'll b no problem fixin ONLY KnN,,,,ONLY KnN.....''SURE WID IT''..........bas i ws concerned wid the point dat APACHE will take it properly,,coz d bike is very compact,,,,
