Hawk Bike alarm burnt do to wrong connection help help

hi guys need some help regarding my hawk alarm, which i brought it from UK for my new R15 V2

unfortunately the mechanic burnt some wire( 2 wires" earthing wires" others intact), due to wrong connection

can it be possible to replace the wire or the whole wire harness, if so then source plz[ATTACH][/ATTACH]

1. in the cable bunch only earth cable is burnt
2. in the control unit earth cable is burnt
3. rest in tact

GPS Security Device for Bikes

I would like to know if there is any good gps system which can track a stolen motorcycle if the product is installed in it... And not too much costly.. Please help..

Last month in an auto store, the shopkeeper was telling me about GPS anti theft devices made specifically for bikes, which is connected to your smartphone through an app.

The cost of that was Rs 5000 for one time installation and the unit and Rs 4000 per annum was the cost of using the services.

How good or reliable these products are is something that i cannot vouch for.

For any GPS system to work you need sky clearance.I mean there should be no obstruction between GPS receiver and the satellite,so you can not track if it is carried away inside a truck.it may work if it comes with A-gps like in mobile which can triangulated the position based on mobile tower.However,choice is yours but i would not install anything like that cause my 13 years experience working with all kind of GPS does not permit me to do so.

well, in India I find only the Indian way works i.e. lock and chain.I mean our objective must be clear if we want to secure our bike against theft or we want to find it after theft.GPS can not prevent theft ,it can only track,provided if the thief wanted to be tracked on.whereas lock and chain can prevent the theft
By the way if modern gadgets can prevent theft there would be no theft in USA
just my personal opinion

Technology always helps. Sadly both rider & thieves.
I would prefer the combo of GPS along with standard lock. Any help in that?

Is chain lock difficult to break?

I am looking to buy anti theft accessory for my bike & after exploring various options i am considering good quality chain lock and need your opinion. I will require to lock my bike only when i park my bike in beach or open ground and not in my home or office as there is adequate security here. So how effective is heavy duty chain lock in preventing theft of bike especially in public place?

Below are the other anti-theft accessories i came across & i am not considering them for below mentioned reasons:
I don't want to buy anti theft alarm as there is chance of it giving false alarm especially when i am not in earshot & this will become nuisance for others in vicinity.
GPS tracking system is beyond my budget.
I heard Disc brake lock can easily removed using a tool within a minute, so iam not considering it either.

Nothing is foolproof. A good XENA disc lock is much better than a chain but then it's costly too.
