Basic everyday office shoes are Egle or Lee Coopers for me black and brown most of the time. Priced around 3.5 K and has lasted around a year and a half now. Very comfortable and goes well with both jeans and pants.. good grip and looks neat but the riding has taken its toll on the same... specially at the toe due to shifting of gears.

Casual evenings just a pair of Puma Slippers.. for touring woodland anklets priced around 3k . comfy and all weather usable or then Nike sneakers at 3.5K depends on the place as well as the outfit. Has lasted for a year almost time for replacement.

      before:

for daily riding woodland shoe (dont know the model name though)

      costs: 2999.
pros: good fit , comfortable.looks good.
cons: doesnot give the feel from the brake lever. the toe shifter ate up the leather in 4 months now i have a hole there

      now:

      for daily ride- orazo coot.
      price 1600
pro's : sturdy boot, good feel from the levers, good toe protection and some amount of ankle protection as well, using since 2 months now, scouring is very less compared to the woodlands i had.over all a good value for money product.

      cons:
i am not a big fan of its looks, not much comfortable for those with broad feet and unfortunately i have broad feet

      for long ride and touring:

      cramster riding boots

During weekend & long rides woodland nuback shoes bought for RS2300, 3 years back
Red Tape scandals purchased around 18 months back for Rs 1400 uses around home.
        Give way to trains.

No I haven't seen them in India, so I bought a few of them from overseas for $10 a piece. If you stay in Bangalore, I can give a spare one as I have a couple of them.

Adiprene is the name of the cushioning material used in the shoe.
not every shoe of adidas is adiprene...!!!

However i have custom made my own version of shift protector since it was my 1st DIY try, the finish isnt great. iam still working on it (read it as extensive testing) if it works out well, then the future ones will have better features and looks here are the pics;
