V-Rod...e.g., there's no apparent depth between front Tyre n its guardOriginally posted by 2fazt4ya View PostThanks guys..

, u can render an ambient occlusion pass n merge it on original render in PS...one more thing > I know you have put reflection of front disk to 100 to get stainless steel effect but in render it looks as made up of aluminum, for that u can insert a reflection panel just make it visible in reflection and invisible in render inside object property

nice work BTW

U r right bro. I was just starting to learn about the VRay materials when I did the Vrod..But as u said the reflection of the front disk is not 100%. Infact to get the brushed metal look I set the Fresnel reflection parameter a bit too low so that it blurs everything thats beyond a particular distance from the surface.... In short. The setting misfired!Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostV-Rod...e.g., there's no apparent depth between front Tyre n its guard

But at that time I was satisfied with it!

It exactly looks like my bike bhai....Originally posted by 2fazt4ya View PostI was always a drooler of everything on wheels.Heck.. I drew cars and bikes on my kindergarden drawing book while other Lil' DUDES settled down with flowers and mountains....
Only change that happened during the years is that from my love for everything on wheels I started loving everything on 2 wheels more....
Then years later I got a bit of knowledge in Multimedia softwares,Still I did the same.Making Modes of vehicles in 3dsMax.

Sharing with my fellow xBhp-ians My latest work that I did in 3dsMax. The model of my own ride The Thunderbird TWINSPARK (a.k.a The Bucephalus). My most worked upon project so far.
This model is made of 962 objects and around 940,000 polygons. Please let me know what you guys think....
All comments and critiques welcome.
