hey
m using currently castrol active 4t 20w50 in ma p220. i changed oil in evry 1250 km.i just want to know which is best oil for pulsar 220 in motul.

Bro, u can use Motul 5100 15W50 which is semi synthetic

OR

300V 15W50 which is Fully Synthetic.

300V would give u a much better experience and a longer drain period.

Buy 2 cans as u have to fill 1.2L. U can use the remaining oil for top up.

wth! i used castrol gtx 20w50 thinking that the high temp here & w50 will stack well togather but now bike is strugling to reach it's previous topend , it does 107kmph max now

oil changed today!! would performnce increase after some time or i wasted 220/-?

First of all, Castrol GTX is for Cars,not bikes.

Secondly what bike do u ride?

hey man but problem is solved i just added 100gms boric acid to oil and i never experienced the pickup like that ... it was full trottle pickup when actually using half the trotlle open he he.. may be i m exaggerating!

the powder would dilute the oil and make it thinner.

liquids are measured in liters and solids in grams... he added 100 grams

Boric acid used for carom board is also a power and is also titled Boric Acid IP and is apparently an insecticide and we use it for cockroaches in our house . It can even be used on wounds - a doctor near to our house used our carom board boric acid power on the wounds when one of our friends got bruises by falling... that was about 20 years ago

It acts as a lubricant on the carom board but how far can it be good in an engine and that too mixed with engine oil???

I would never try that More so if it is in the powder form

welll u got that rite... but mind u....... if u jus use that oil for like a period of 50-100 kms.... that oil wud actually make ur engine much smoother..... de-frictions ur engine.....

yeh sir do let us knw... it worked wonders on my rtr ...... trust me..... ud feel like doin for longer kms... suggest u control that urge ... also if u need more help there is this member ..xbhp id- racoon .... hez pretty much into this experimentation... if u want consult him..... coz i got the idea from him
