Can any one tell me where I can get Motul 300v In Dombivli/Kalyan.... I can even go to Thane and Ghatkopar.. But dombivli/Kalyan will be great...

Just one Que. What colour will it be when svc will drain it in next service (mar- april)
If it's green, then it's trouble as it should look like a typical dtsi oil when they will change it

But for the record, it could be anywhere between the darkened base colour of the oil to Almost tar black... Umm, don't worry about the knowledge part, as it will keep on increasing... . Glad that my advice could be of use to you.

I checked the oil level just now and found it as such.
I don't know much about this, but looks like the level is low. I have checked at the time of filling and it was way higher.
Had used Motul 300v and had run only ~2000kms. With what oil should oil do i top-up if couldn't find the 300v ?
There goes my longer change intervals.

That dosen't look good. When did you check the oil level? After coming from a ride or before cranking it up for the first time? Also, the oil look too blackish to me.

I checked it before starting the bike. And yes, its blackish and it was supposed to be kinda greenish. Don't know what might be the reason. Been less the 2k kms with this oil.

Check oil levels every 500 kms on any new oil. It tells you apetite of your engine for that oil. Later for the same oil you can use a safe interval to check levels.

Color is no concern but keep level as near to max as possible.

Fill w40 grade motul to top up. If you cant source w40, any grade will do.

Use FS to continue to reap benefits of your present FS. Otherwise mineral will do.

Top up is not recommended & draining period varies with vehicles & what oil you are using.

Will top-up with mineral and change the oil in next week. Can't let the engine run with low oil.

Why do you want to change the oil so soon?? Top-up will suffice the low oil level issue. Incase the oil level goes down again before covering 500kms, switch to another oil ans see if it is the same case or not.

Top-up to the required level and see if the level goes down again.

Can you please mark the point on the pic I had posted earlier and show till where the oil level should be.

The oil level should be slightly above the criss-cross mark. Also, try using the same oil and of same grade.
