No. In India ax7 is available only in the grade 10W40.
But you can opt for ax5. It is available in the grade of 10W30.

          Cheers

Tell us some details about your bike like kms clocked, engine oils used till now, drain intervals.
This will help us to recommend better options.

My impulse bike is around 11000 kms and I have done last 5 free services at hero service centre
And now im thinking not to get service from those guys as they only charge money and does not give good service
They charge me 80 rs for only cleaning the rear drum pads
So im confuse which oil to use
And I dont know how to change oil.
As u all know impulse doesn't has main stand so what are the options I can use

As I was searching on google I found some pics of ktm 300exc as this bike is lifted on some kind of table stand
And when I visited there web site ktmworld they are charging this table around 72 dollars

                Pls help

You can try 3000 10W30 (mineral oil) or 5100 10w30 (Technosynthese/ Semi Synthetic oil) from Motul. You can buy the oil and take it to any local mech in your locality for changing the oil.

They aslo put some jack like round small stand to lift the bike from centre
When I saw that I ask that service centre guy I want to buy that stand which u use he told me its only made for service centres by hero company and its not for sale

                          Caution: Silly Doubt:

If the sump contains a 20W-40 oil, why should we warm the oil before changing it - won't it drain/flow well at 20W than at 40W? or do automotive oils thin first before thickening to the heavier "weight"?

                          Overheating?

Can notchy downshifts, vibration and in general a feeling of not-refined be caused by a bad choice of oil/old oil losing viscosity over time? My Gixxer has all these symptoms when riding in extreme stop-go traffic but not when the ride is a mix of both stop-go and "free-road". I don't feel any significant heat near my legs (may be my jeans shield them well).

@muztariq , That thought occurred to me as well - AX-7 is very close to the HDEOs and it contains good amount of ZDDP and detergents. Have you tried the Delvac 1400 Super as well?

The purpose of warming the oil before draining is to make it thinner, so that it drains freely. Any oil will flow freely when it is made to run for sometime. General oils that are available in the market are not greater than 20W. Also, no matter what grade oil you use, the best practice is to warm the oil before draining.

What oil are you using on Gixxer?

The choice of oil plays important role for the symptoms mentioned by you. Also, the oil starts loosing its properties over a period of time as we cover kms.

Now it runs on Castrol Go! (Oil will be completing 2K in another 150 kms).

Castrol Go is API SG 20W40 oil (as mentioned on their website). Are you using the same? If so, you are bound to face heat, vibrations, hard gear shifts. Also, there are many fake products of Castrol available in market. Hope the one you are using is genuine. Switch to better oil from Shell, Motul, Gulf.

How much does the oil cost? How much quantity is required to fill the sump?
