      Yeah, you can use it.
Motul 5100 15w50 is slightly thick comapred to Yamalube.
So, initial warm up (normal 3-4km ride) is required before insane ride.
And, it is great for highway cruising at 90+ speeds.
      Engine Feels smoother than before.
Motul is great for typical Indian Conditions.
      Will last 3000km max.

            Hai
I am using liquid gun 15W50 for my cl350. I just want to know the safe drain interval.

One more problem I am facing is that during morning engine start if the bike is on gear and I try to start the bike. It jerks forward like when you start the engine with a half held clutch. And if I start the engine in neutral and give a minute of ideal running and then when I engage the first gear. It jerks and the gear engagement is very rough. But after riding for just 2 or 3 kms then the problem is not there. Experts please advise

            Cheers

guys my bike pulsar 150 clocked 55k km and gonna change engine oil i would like to keep it cheap so what are your suggestions about

              Shell Advance AX7 550031394 10W-40 Synthetic Technology Motorbike Engine Oil (1 L)

              (or)
Shell Advance AX5 550031425 20W-40 Premium Mineral Motorbike Engine Oil (900 ml)

              (or)
Mobil Extra 4T 10W-40 Semi Synthetic Motorcycle Oil (1 L)

              source:amazon.in

should i go for this?will it affect any performance as i would be doing a 50:50 city and highway riding i don't want any sluggishness ! is 900ml enough for pulsar 150?

              thanks

I am planning to change over to shell advance ax7 in a few hundred kms after reaching 1k kms. I also found the oil to be thick and made bike sluggish on r4.
Aah ha!! After a long looong time, yours is an realistic opinion on HDEOs.

Hats off to you to quote that HDEOs do not make any appreciable difference over motorcycle specific 4T oils.

In fact I was thinking of shifting to HDEOs in my next oil change. Thanks to your opinion, I will be sticking to Shell AX7. Been using AX7 since last 2 yrs.

That means you weren't reading everything properly previously. If one is moving from a 10w40 AX7 types oil, then R4 would obviously seem to make the bike sluggish. That too slightly. On the upside, it masks vibes very well. Also, if you search the various threads with the search term Rimula, you'd see that people have used the oil up to 1900 km at max. 1600 to 1900 odd km at the max!
My bike's ODO reads 85,600 km of which R4 has been used for approx 53k km. I haven't seen a big drop in mileage. 1 kmpl maybe.
Nobody ever said HDEOs are a replacement to petrol EOs, they're only a cheaper (and equally reliable) alternatives.

W50 oil suits well with p 150 try below mentioned oils
                    Valvoline premium 4t 20w50
                    Motul 3000 4t 20w50

                    Gulf pride 20w50
                    I guess p150 requires 1000ml

I have been reading thru thousands of Blah blah about HDEOs very VERY PROPERLY. Hence I said that I was happy to read about abhilashabhi's opinion.
Also Abhilash has said tht his bike became rough after few 100 Kms on rimula.

Rimula costs around 370 bucks and can be used for 1900 kms
AX7 costs 399 and can easily go beyond 2.5K kms

So which oil is eventually cheaper?? Equally reliable?? A big question mark.

I just said I like abhilashabhi's opinion on HDEOs. It helped me to take a decision. Other members have a problem with that??

Good luck with the 2500+ km.
FYI, Rimula costs 340 a litre (I avoid online channels for oils)!

Regarding reliability, it has been great for me and a few others on bigger displacement mopeds. I'm sure it wouldn't burn other bikes either.

I was quoting the price at the shell bunk. My dealer in Chinchwad, Pune gives me AX7 for 355 bucks and AX5 for 215.

Anyways. I will give u some point to think about

the viscosity index of Shell rimula R4x is 139, while the viscosity index of Shell advance AX7 is 172. This is quoted on the shell website in the msds & pds sheets of respective oils.
This is a world established fact that lower the viscosity index of engine oil, lesser the protection at high temperatures. So AX7 is better than shell rimula.

Good luck to u too with HDEOs

Guys same oils perform differently on different bikes too. Shell advance ax7 performs much better in my cbz than in my fiero. Also same rimula felt different on my fiero than on my friends. So choose whichever suits u r bike best.
Honda_Abhi you can try for yourself once the rimula you never know it.can work out better in your case
