Lastly want to know the feedback of shell advance AX7 as it is darn cheap and semisynthetic too .. I got it at ₹315 .
Its good have been using this oil since i moved to bangalore and even before that also got a box of AX7s as the dealership was closing the business in orissa.
In total using it for like say 15-20k kms in total. I feel its a good oil for my style of using it. Anyways if you get it for 315 then you can give it a try and junk it if you dont feel happy.

        Thanks,
a semi-synthetic oil would be perfect for the FZ....don't use mineral as that would be low on overall performance, and I think fully-synthetic oils are overkill for the FZ. As for the chain, use Yamalube Chain Lube and Yamalube Chain Clean

        My Suggestion :-

        1. Motul 5100 4T 15W50 ( Semi-Synthetic )
        2. Castrol Power 1 4T 15W50 ( Semi-Synthetic )

            I checked on amazon.in i didn't see motul 5100 in the grade you have mentioned....if you specifically want a semi-synthetic oil....try Shell Advance AX7 ( 10W40 ).

Motul 5100 is available in 10w30 or 15w50 grade. Which bike you want to use it for?

Recommended grade is 10w30.But it is not suitable for long runs (say 35-40kms at a stretch with speeds between 60-70).
Presently running on shell ax7 10w40 (engine runs good for 20kms n then it gets rough after that). So going for MOTUL.
Which grade will be good for long runs??

Shell ax7 is good for upto 20 kms after that my bike gets rough . So I want to try MOTUL . I have once used valvoline premium 20w50 . Bike ran very smooth without performance and mileage loss. Will Xw50 be good for my bike??

Best recommendation for these is found in your bike's owner's manual . That is the first one to try .

Firstly , how old is the bike ? Newer engine shall heat up fast and tend to get rough in long runs . It's normal and shall get okay as the kms run up .
If your bike is already well run in and you're finding these problems with 10w30/10w40 which are both 10 base oils , next thing to try is any 20w40 ( Motul , if you prefer that ) .

let me share my opinion, since you're doing 80km/day engine will surely heat up a lot....from that point of view I believe a semi-synthetic Xw50 oil can be better for your engine. ( Motul 5100 4T 15W50 ).

                            Hello All,
Has anyone tried GS CALTEX KIXX ULTRA 4T 15W50? I filled it today in my gs150r. Looks like a good oil and really value for money. Its APISN and JASO MA2 rated SEMI SYNTHETIC oil. Even data sheet is on par with the other oils in the market. First impression is quite good. Gear shift has become smoother than before. And in spite of 15w50, it does feel like w40 oil. Oil color is quite clear, almost transparent with slightest yellowish tint. Price is 280/L.
Recommended for pulsar owners. Worth trying guys 😀

                              Hi there
I own a hornet . Clocked 11900 kms. Up for last service. Currently using Honda throttle 10w30 synthetic oil.
Good oil but doesn't hold that well when engine runs hot.
Can you experts here suggest me a good w30/40 grade oil ??

                                Hello,
I've been using Gulf 4T Synth 10w30 since last 3 years in my Xtreme, and I'm pretty much satisfied with its performance. Easily lasts 2500+ Kms and a total VFM Oil as it costs almost half as compared to Throttle.
