      No, you're not.

Recommended would be 10w40 "MB" I guess, motorbike oils are xxWxx "MA" or "MA2". For now you could run with the current oil. Next time onwards you could use either 10w40 or 20w40 depending on your regional temperature and riding conditions, ensure you use "MB" grade oil only for clutchless scooters.

      Cheers

              Hello guys,

I'm using Motul v300 in my NS200 for the past few years. Earlier I had a monthly running of 1200kms, and hence I used to do an oil change every 5-6 months.

However, recently I relocated closer to my office and my monthly running has gone down to 300-400kms per month.

This makes my total running around 2000kms for 6 months. And according to calculations, it would take me close to 18-months for an oil change (utilising the entire life of the engine oil)

My question is if 18-months is okay as a time period for engine oil change?

I can switch to Motul 5100 later, but currently, I have 3-4 bottles of Motul v300 in stock.

For Fz25 fully synthetic is recommended. Should I go for 300v? 7100 brought out and unnecessary vibes. Out should I try 5100?

What should be the life of synthetic engine oil if bike is used less...
Can I go on using the same oil for over a year if i have not completed the required no of kms for oil change?

Performs awesome! The best oil you can get for your bike! But now that my average speed has come down to 20-30kmph from the highway cruising speeds of 80-90kmph... I dunno if this would be beneficial to me.

Any oil when poured in engine tends to loose its properties over time . So follow a oil change interval of 6 months.

I am actually in the same spot. At first, thought of going for the Shell AX7, but since that is considered as more or less a mineral oil, now thinking if I should try out the Motul 5100 instead. (7100, 300V is an overkill for my primary usage inside city)

                          Experts,
So, considering Motul 5100, which grade will be better for the FZ25(10w40)? The 15w50 or the 10w30?

Is 5100 available in 10w40 grade? I cannot find it online, will check with local dealers then.
Btw, did you change to 5100 yet?

300V is not really needed for your current scenario. Go for 5100 15W50.
